the negativity stemming from the sudden malfunction of the hogwarts express was suffocating grace. her summer and the months leading up to it were a humid pessimistic haze and she’d hoped her return to hogwarts would be refreshing but it had turned out to be not all that different. picking through the last box of bertie bott’s she’d managed to purchase before the breakdown, grace finds a spot away from the moaning, sitting with her back against the trunk of a tree, leaves and green blades of grass tickling the exposed parts of her legs. “bertie bott?” she extends her box in the other’s direction, “as long as you don’t complain about the train, I want to eat my sweets with zero negativity.”
Rohan had been walking around observing everyone. People watching was one of his favorite pastimes. He saw the girl sitting against a tree eating candy and was a little surprised when she offered him some. “Does it count as negativity if I get a gross flavor?” he said with a smirk before popping one of the beans in his mouth, “pumpkin.”
