Steve’s interest was obvious as his pupils blew open wide at Eddie's words, swallowing almost all of the honeyed color surrounding them, but he still couldn’t help hesitating a little. As much as he wanted Eddie, part of him worried that he might fuck up their friendship if he crossed that line, because he knew that even a little bit of touching could easily become sexual on his end. Once he reasoned to himself that his worries were outweighed by the fanged man’s need, he folded like a lawn chair under the weight of his own want, and slipped both hands under the hem of the other’s shirt to trace over the still-pink webbing of scars painted across his middle. “Right, yeah, I can— I’ll just touch here, okay?”
