Tomorrow marks exactly two weeks since I started showing symptoms of covid. It’s been the longest two weeks ever and it hit me so hard. I haven’t left the house in two weeks and called the covid 19 line just 5 days ago because I was scared and not getting better. Couldn’t get tested and I don’t have a primary care doctor so I survived on DayQuil and mucinex. My cough is currently getting better, but I’ve been coughing so much/hard that I pulled a muscle on my side and feels like I was in an accident.
Please stay home and safe. I’m a healthy person with no underlining health problems and this so hard on me.
I currently have all the symptoms of the virus and won’t be getting tested due to the lack of them. They are telling everyone in my state to treat it at home until you can’t. I currently have a bad cough and I’m terrified of it turning into pneumonia. Please stay inside, it’s not worth it. I have had on an off fevers for a week and lots of crying because I’m terrified. I haven’t left my house in a week and probably won’t for a long time.
The scary part is that there are only 12 cases in my county. I can literally count all the public places I went to the week before I got sick on one hand. I can be an extreme introvert and I was barely leaving the house and took all precautions and so I can’t figure out where I would of picked it up.
Now I’m treating it and trying to keep my mind off it because I have a big fear of hospitals in general and it’s the last place I want to be.
Stay home.
I’m sitting here crying because I have a fever and I’m so terrified of being sick and getting people I know sick and waking up with all the symptoms tomorrow
