Funny stuff from the Iliad

Achilles is in complete rage mode after patroclos death

So after he gets his new armor he wakes everyone in camp up by screaming around

And at the council he "forgives" Agamemmnon, who took away Briseis, but only because now he is more angry at Hector, who killed Patroclos

But when he asks the Achaeans to fight right away

Odysseus counters with: 'But what about breakfast???'

And Achilles is just all like: 'My most special person just got killed. The only thing I want for breakfast is blood and death.'

But Agamemmnon too, is all like: 'But what about breakfast???'

I can only imagine the deep breath Achilles must have taken to not start screaming.
