When people realize TSOA is a FICTIONAL retelling and not a lore-accurate factual Greek mythology book

Technically all Greek stories are fictional because they’re myths but you get the point

Been a while since I read TSOA but I just remembered how much Patroclus' self worth was affected by the colorism at the time.If I remember correctly,he frequently described his dark skin in relation to other's pale white ones,as though he was a blemish.Especially when it came to Achilles being literal perfection in his eyes
