Ground Rules

Hello everyone! Welcome to roleplayboxd, an 18+ roleplay ad blog designed to match adult roleplayers with other adult roleplayers. Before you submit, we have a few rules for you to go over. After you've viewed the rules, please check out our "what we want from you" post in regards to the ads.

By sending an ad or following this blog, you assert that you are 18+. Any user found to be lying about their age will be blocked. Blank blogs and blogs without an age in bio will also be blocked.

We are not a roleplay blog. We instead are an roleplay advertising blog. Ads may be sent in on or off anon.

01. Bigotry of any kind will not be tolerated. This blog is explicitly against racism, homophobia/queerphobia, transphobia, misogyny, ableism, and zionism. We are LGBTQIA2S+ friendly.

02. We do not accept ads involving RPF (Real Person Fiction) content. Requests for certain face claims are permitted.

03. We do not accept ads looking for raceplay and orientation play. If we suspect an ad may be an attempt to bypass our rules, we will delete the ad. As absurd as it sounds, it has happened.

04. Ads looking for any content regarding J.K. Rowling and within "the Wizarding World of Harry Potter" will not be accepted. This also includes the "Maurauders" fandom.

05. Do not include slurs in your ad.

06. We permit minimum ages. We do not permit age caps.

07. Ads with characters who are minors will not be published. Your ad must assert the underaged characters in your ad will be a minimum of 18+.

08. Do not send your ad in multiple times within a short time span. Please wait at least five days before sending your ad again.

09. We are kink-friendly. However, please keep kink descriptions to a minimum. Details should be taken to DMs.

10. We do not permit ads looking for pedophilia, necrophilia, beastiality, and incest. If we suspect an ad is attempting to bypass our rules, we will delete it.

11. If your ad contains sensitive material in general, please include the dove (🕊️) emoji in your ad. Keep details concise. Further details should be taken to DMs.

12. We do not accept ads with small text or fancy text. Your ad will be deleted. This blog wants to make every post as accessible as possible.

hello! i was wondering if you accept ads for rps with fandom characters that are under 18 in canon, but would be +18 in the rp? like aged up characters. mostly asking for an avatar: the last airbender rp that would either be set in an au where they're adults, or after the canon series, when they're adults as well.

Hi Anon. We do accept those ads as many stories involving younger characters do feature them when they're older in essence. We would of course want you to specify the characters you are looking for to be older.

Hey! I'm +18 and looking for a romantic oc x oc hurt/comfort rp! my oc is male, and I'd prefer your oc to be male or some other masc-aligned gender identity. I'm only looking for people over 18 and your oc must be +18 as well. I write over discord and my responses are usually around the lit range, but I try to match my rp partner's response length. I try to reply a few times a day (though it depends on how our timezones/schedules work).

Brief plot idea: my oc (Kai, he/him, bottom preference, but could maybe switch?) is a 20 y/o college student in an abusive relationship who slowly befriends one of his neighbours/roommates/classmates (your oc). At some point, things go south with Kai's partner, they break up and he ends up taking shelter in someone else's house (maybe your oc's apartment?) and getting closer to your oc. We can discuss where things go from there, but I'd like them to eventually have a healthy romantic relationship! fwbs to lovers? best friends to lovers? roommates to lovers? we can talk about it!

Looking for: angst, but also lots of healing and fluff! think half crying/angst/panic attacks, half cute college/coffee shop scenes. smut is encouraged but i tend to prefer more plot than smut. I prefer art/picrew and similar types of faceclaims.

Hard no: 🕊️ and similar, heavily toxic stuff between our oc's, degradation, and some specific kinks that can be discussed in dms. No irl faceclaims please!

Warnings: Kai would struggle with multiple mental health issues, so please be very upfront about any triggers you might have so I can avoid them!

25+ looking for 20+ only. Only looking for Cannonxcannon. I have a hodgepodge of fandoms I’d like to write for! Just getting out of a period of writers block so replies will vary. NOT FOR VANILLA RP PARTNERS. Most if not all roleplays will have some 🕊️ and potentially triggering topics.

🔪I have been so very hungry for Killing Stalking. I primarily play Sangwoo and would want to jump off near the end, with the two (Sangwoo and Yoonbum) reconnecting and Sangwoo going through his trauma with him, possibly relapsing. I’d also be open to AUs!

🐑Alien: Earth came out about a year ago but I’m still frothing at the mouth over this series. This is the only fandom I would be open to OCs. Monster lovers only for this plot as I’d like to write or write against a Xenomorph (hybrid or not).

🧸The last fandom is a shot in the dark but if anyone has any interest in Unicorn Wars I would love to play Azulin against someone to write Pompom. This one will also have dark themes with Azulin working through the chaos of what he’s done.

Hii! 19f person here looking for somebody 18+ to do an original roleplay with me!! All characters will be 18+ and I’m looking for a pretty specific original plotline one I will detail below!!

The plot I would like to do centres in New York, in the universe of vampires. The vampire system in New York is complex, there are many groups of separate vampires and they have their own society that operates outside of the human one. In the center of that system lies character A and character B. Character A is 100 but physically 23, and character B is 98 but physically 24. The two have been in a relationship since they were 19 and 20 as humans. The two met at a movie theater character B worked at. Character A would come in twice a week and ask him which movie was worth seeing and character B would recite the plotlines of each so that she could decide. The two formed an instant connection and dated for 4 years before their deaths. Character A was bitten by a guy at a bar who did it for little reason, because he believed that if he had to suffer, so did everybody else, and the two have been looking for him for the duration of their vampiric time. Character B was diagnosed with a terminal illness and begged Character A to be the one to take his life instead of the disease. The two spent two decades trying to live a normal life, to try to scrape some regularity into their lives. But they were run out of Chicago where they previously lived as the locals had noticed they hadn’t aged in a number of years. The two moved to New York after they progressed to the top of that social system. At the current time of the plot, they are in the highest group of that system. I prefer to roleplay on discord as this is the easiest for organisation, my timezone is BST but I have a chaotic sleep schedule so I’m fairly active most of the time. I’m open to doubling for this and would be happy to play one of your ocs for your side too if you’ll play Character B for me.

The faceclaims for my characters are Jack Innanen (Character B) and Dior Goodjohn (Character A) and for your side I request the faceclaim is a real life one, no drawing or anime faceclaims. I would love to indulge my partner for this so be creative with your ocs for this, I’ll portray anything within reason of course. I love playlists, moodboards, social media, all of that stuff and I’d love to truly engage in this roleplay with you.

I would like semi-literate for this plot, but a character groupchat on the side is required as I find these enjoyable and a great way of writing with the characters when we do not have time to write a full literate reply.

Preferred Pairings. We prefer tags such as WLW / Lesbian / Sapphic, MLM / Gay, and ALA (Any-Loving-Any) / Queer as terms like FxF and MxM are quite restrictive and may exclude certain demographics of people from the dynamics you are seeking. Yes, we will be enforcing this.

Gender Discrimination. While we at roleplayboxd believe everyone should be comfortable, ads that say "I only roleplay with AFAB/AMAB" people or a variation of that will not be accepted. We firmly believe that someone's AGAB and general gender identity is no one's business. In fact, this belief is bioessentialist and continues to fuel transphobia as many ads expressing this sentiment leans into the idea that AFAB people are "inherently" better to interact with simply because they are AFAB. Furthermore, such a sentiment also excludes intersex people. Keep that to yourself and do some self reflection on why you believe AFAB people are "inherently better." And remember: you don't have to reach out if you don't want to.

Racial Discrimination. Ads that say something like "No K-Pop / Korean face claims" are deeply racist. It's actually really disturbing how common this is. Any justification for this such as "they look uncanny" or "they look like AI" is also rooted in racism. And let's be real: are you actually looking up what the ethnicity of specific face claims are or are you just assuming every pale Asian face claim is Korean? aka. being racist.

Polite Homophobia / General Homophobia. If your ad specifies that there is a criteria for queer pairings to meet for you to roleplay but you are open to straight pairings in general, we will not post it. The idea that queer pairings need to have certain chemistry but straight pairings do not is rooted in homophobia. At least hold your standards for straight people too. Furthermore, any ad that states something like "queer characters can only be in platonic relationships with other queer characters" will be deleted. We don't feel like we need to explain how that is deeply homophobic.

Misogynistic Language.

Racist Plots. Yes, this includes plots that are orientalist in nature. It's 2026. If you're still looking for plots centered on "exotic tribes" or other racist plots, we are deleting it.
