Presumably, you have read and agreed to our rules. Which is why you're at this post. Consider this a very basic "what we are looking for" post in regards to your ad. At the bare minimum, you must meet the necessary criteria and not include anything in our unacceptable list.
"All characters will be 18+" or any age variation.

A maximum of 10 fandoms per post if you are seeking a fandom roleplay.

Dead Dove Marking (only if it applies to your ad)

Ghosting Status / General Availability
Preferred Pairings. We prefer tags such as WLW / Lesbian / Sapphic, MLM / Gay, and ALA (Any-Loving-Any) / Queer as terms like FxF and MxM are quite restrictive and may exclude certain demographics of people from the dynamics you are seeking. Yes, we will be enforcing this.
Preferred types of face claims (if face claims are desirable)
Description Level / Style (novella, advanced lit, literate, semi-literate, rapid fire)
Triggers & Boundaries. Deep detail is not required. Comfort Levels would also be extremely helpful for people.
Platonic / Familial / Romantic / Smutfishing
Gender Discrimination. While we at roleplayboxd believe everyone should be comfortable, ads that say "I only roleplay with AFAB/AMAB" people or a variation of that will not be accepted. We firmly believe that someone's AGAB and general gender identity is no one's business. In fact, this belief is bioessentialist and continues to fuel transphobia as many ads expressing this sentiment leans into the idea that AFAB people are "inherently" better to interact with simply because they are AFAB. Furthermore, such a sentiment also excludes intersex people. Keep that to yourself and do some self reflection on why you believe AFAB people are "inherently better." And remember: you don't have to reach out if you don't want to.
Racial Discrimination. Ads that say something like "No K-Pop / Korean face claims" are deeply racist. It's actually really disturbing how common this is. Any justification for this such as "they look uncanny" or "they look like AI" is also rooted in racism. And let's be real: are you actually looking up what the ethnicity of specific face claims are or are you just assuming every pale Asian face claim is Korean? aka. being racist.
Polite Homophobia / General Homophobia. If your ad specifies that there is a criteria for queer pairings to meet for you to roleplay but you are open to straight pairings in general, we will not post it. The idea that queer pairings need to have certain chemistry but straight pairings do not is rooted in homophobia. At least hold your standards for straight people too. Furthermore, any ad that states something like "queer characters can only be in platonic relationships with other queer characters" will be deleted. We don't feel like we need to explain how that is deeply homophobic.
Racist Plots. Yes, this includes plots that are orientalist in nature. It's 2026. If you're still looking for plots centered on "exotic tribes" or other racist plots, we are deleting it.
