“Head’s up!” Looks like someone has finally finished tinkering with her skates and is charging directly in Jake’s direction. The thief doesn’t stay on her feet, though; no- Once she gets enough speed, she’s diving into a handspring and laughing herself into the air.

Only problem is she doesn’t come down. Nope, she’s landed on the ceiling, standing ‘up’ straight, just tall enough to meet the Page’s eyes with her own. A little smirk on her face. “What’s cookin’, good lookin’~~? Like the new upgrade?”

This was…unexpected.

It was no secret among Kariya’s friends that he liked to hang out on the rooftops. He mostly did this while staying on the UG side of things, but every now and then he did decide to hang out in the RG as well (after flying up from the UG, of course).

So when he saw someone that most certainly was not a Reaper on one of his rooftops, to say he was surprised would be an understatement. So he watched the stranger for a bit, intending to disappear before being caught. But, well, that hadn’t turned out well for him, now had it?

“Heh. Sorry for spookin’ ya,” he apologizes. “But it ain’t often I find someone else hanging out up here.” He just shrugs, before taking a lollipop out of his jacket pocket, unwrapping it and popping it in his mouth.

“Can’t say I’ve seen you around here before,” he comments, noting her unusual appearance, before sticking his hands in his pockets. “So, tell me,” he grins. “How’d you get up here? Not just anyone’s got the skills or lack of braincells to even try it.”

“Guess that’s something we already have in common then!” Her wheels recede back into her shoes with a satisfying click. She didn’t know what was up with this guy, but he definitely gave off the air of someone you would NOT expect to find this high up. At least she came off as a questionable college student while in her college attire? But someone like this?

It doesn’t show but she’s already a little put off.

“Could ask you the same thing, pal!” There’s a couple steps forward taken, pink hood flipped onto her head with a flourish. Of course she could make it look like she was approaching, but her real aim was either the next rooftop over or the space in between the buildings. She needed to make her exit after all! “On the level, someone’d have to be over the edge and off the deep end to come up here. Real punk, y’know? You definitely don’t look like that type~”

Shibuya, Tokyo... This was the district over from where she had set up base. It was always good to get a lay of the land when Bomber jumped cities and she had to follow him. 

“This apple really does seem like the cat’s pajamas...” Jack rocks on her wheeled shoes, stretching out her neck and back. Mumbling the compliment to herself as she watched the crowds below. She knew she couldn’t stick around for long, lest someone recognize her and make some kind of report.

Though who knows; maybe no one knew Diamond Jack in this city.

The thief turns to get going, only to startle slightly at the sudden appearance of someone else on the rooftop with her. How long had he been there? “Goodness gracious, where did you come from?” A slight chuckle as she puts a hand on her chest. “You’re gonna scare a dame goofy if you don’t give some warning, haha~ Something I can do for you?”

A chuckle at the comment. G had made sure to plan it out so the time would be best for all 3 of them- that only made sense. “Not too much, really. Techno is, as is obvious, a Brown puffle- and as you may very well know, Brown puffles are exceptionally gifted with technology.” As is evident by the little guy’s mech. 

“Techno requires a tech to train him in addition to PH, because of this.” G goes on to explain. “I figured you two working together would be a good combination, given how you’ve expressed interest in the past in building your gadgets.”

A small nod is given, as she listens to what G has to say, head tilted and listening intently for once. She knew pretty well by now how skilled brown puffles could be, by this point. Heck, she’d even thought of taking one in as a companion, at one point, before she realised she may not be able to do that.

So much for listening intently as well, because the moment her superior mentioned her interests in her building and technology, and it’s a beat later that Dia's eyes avert towards the ground. Geez, did he really have to say it like that? He was going to actually embarass her. “I can see how you’d make that correlation, for sure. Where do we start? I’m sure we’ll be on the trolley in no time, with this.”

Despite being the lead Tech officer(and the Director’s right-hand penguin), even he and the others of the EPF’s A-team needed practice with the elite puffles. G in particular was introducing the newer of the elite puffles, Techno, to an agent. Why him and not PH being the one to train an agent with a puffle? That answer was simple.

Techno was a Brown puffle.

Techno had to be trained by PH and a Tech agent, and planned out when he’d train with other agents. Normally, PH would be here to help training, but G could handle this one- and she had the other puffles and their training. “Ah- right on time! I know you usually train with PH when you train with elite puffles, but Techno here is a special case.” 

The small brown puffle, in his mech, smiled and directed the mech to give a bit of a wave.

“On time by regular standards or mine?” Of course it’s said with a grin, as Dia casually puts her signature radio away and crosses her flippers over her chest. Sure, she knew the answer already, but she couldn’t help a lighthearted comment to G, before things got started.

“A special case, you say?” Of course Techno gets a grin and a wave, as well. Why wouldn’t she return the greeting? “There something you need to fill this dame on or is this just cause it’s more up your alley?”
