Once again, the chip implant had sent her to another universe; one of ice and snow and one that had caused her form to be altered upon entry. If she hadn’t ended up popping up behind a set of buildings, she probably would have panicked. But instead, she decided that making her way to the quietest area she could find was for the best.

That’s where she was now, hood over her head and mumbling to herself as she walked- wait, no- waddled towards wherever it got quieter. Turns out that was the steps of a cabin.

“Okay... okay, deep breaths, 399... You’re safe- Covered in jade-colored feathers, but safe. Just gotta play it cool until you’re zapped elsewhere-”

Is she aware she could end up unintentionally drawing attention with her mumbling? Nope, not in the slightest; so much fo ‘play it cool.’

      “Still makes it hilarious ta me, Lad.” All of the penguins were always so quick to take Grooves’ side. Seeing one call him a peck neck was comedy gold to him. “Good ta see not all o’ the penguins have lost their sense o’ taste.”

Of course her silly songs continue, only taking notice of Gary when she heard his footsteps came closer. Trina turned around to find out who was the source of the approaching penguin. Oh, he was one of the tall ones, like everyone else she saw around! He had a white coat too, so- “Hihi Mister! Are you a doctor? Have you seen my dad, mom or little brother? He’d be with one of them!”

A Masked Stranger Asked: Whomst is the friend shaped?

Cue a deep inhale-

“Gary, Darwin, Archie, Jake, Mu, Rookie, Rosey, Jack, Rock, Ben and all his aliens, my new lil icy angel, Winnie, and-” She’s going to go on for a while naming everyone she’s allowed to say she’s met on her version of Club Penguin,  the surrounding universes and he people in a chatroom she frequents.

A Masked Stranger Asked: I mean, isn’t it a legitimate reason to worry? You could possibly put all your friends in danger if you let yourself get caught or make on little mistake! Like seriously! *Picks up Trina by her hood* If people can just carry you like this your screwed!

“Wh- HEY!”

And of course the masked one is getting a startled yelp and a glare. Though before she can say anything else, the ding of her phone goes off. She can only assume it’s from one of the penguins, since they were the only ones who had her cell number at the moment.

Seconds later, the crack of a metal bat against the masked one’s head is heard, followed by the thud of Trina on the floor. Once she’s free, there’s a quick responce left to Gary.

[Reply to Contact: Gary] --> Yeah, I’ve been meaning to go talk to him again, now that things have died down. Evidently a bat can only scare off so much.

A short and sheepish chuckle is given as Gary is set down. He was stull getting the hang of cues, when someone needed help down from a boost. Sometimes a stepladder just didn’t do it, after all- Especially when it came to the inventor wanting to build something or get something repaired. “So, are these the finihing touches or do you still have a ways to go with this?”

“Yeah, a lotta kids in school did too. But yeah, I getcha.” She really appriciated the ‘most’, as well. At least until she could be a penguin again. “I’m starting to lean that, too. Used to hate beaing small.” A snort follows as Trina opens an eye and watched Gary go about his buisness. 

“Though I’ll be honest, It doesn’t help me changing that mindset completely when I’m having to look up at everyone, including folks who could easily hop up and hang out on my shoulder.”
