C4E031 Trick of the Light

Hi all! Stats are now live for C4E031—one of just four main campaign episodes (five including ExUs) to cross the six-hour mark, behind C3E121 (8:34:59) and ahead of C2E141 (6:54:44), C3E101 (6:10:29), and ExU Calamity Ep 4 (06:07:17).

Our bird count is quickly closing in on 200. Check out our list of Mara’s and Hannan's contributions to the count. We’d make a Freebird joke, but given the state of Aramán’s afterlives and the scar Hannan now likely bears, it seems only one of these birds is any kind of free at the moment.

We’re taking these Age of Umbra weeks off to work on some of our larger projects (our scope for now remains canon, main-PC one shots in Exandria and Aramán), so stay tuned for more soon. For now, why not take the opportunity to browse our data categories and let us know if there’s anything else C4 you think we should be tracking!

if Mumford & Sons existed in Aramán I think 17-year-old Azune would have listened to Little Lion Man on repeat every night in his tent and cried. And I think Teor would eventually go up to him and say "you are not little lion man" and it would just make Azune cry harder because now he thinks he accidentally offended Teor. And Teor would panic and say "no no I meant you are not metaphorical little lion man, I didn't think you thought you were an actual lion man." Which, of course, would just make Azune even more upset because he feels guilty that he thought Teor would not understand the metaphor. And eventually he'd just be lying on the ground ugly sobbing while Teor is patting his back and saying "I wish to kill Mumford and all of his Sons"

Julien is an older brother who is protective of his younger sister an used to facing the scorn of his parents, I think it's only natural that seeing how abusive Occtis' family is to him that there's a protective older brother instinct in him to want to protect him

one thing i desperately need when the show comes back is a flashback or at least some explanation of how and why occtis and thaisha were put together for the 'bring the coffin back from venatus' job. why was occtis going on that trip when he's still in school? did thjazi need him/his powers specifically? what were their impressions of each other? how long did it take for thaisha to start seeing him as her 'son' and what happened to spur that? I NEED ANSWERS
