Started watching Lost recently (only on season 3 -- no spoilers, please!) but it just hit me that the thing that I really like about Kate and Sawyer as a couple over Kate and Jack is that in the former's case, they're both the brooding, unavailable, tortured bad boy. And that's a dynamic that you don't normally see on screen, which I think is a big part of what makes them stand out as a unit while also fitting together really well and balancing each other out.

it’s not to say that i necessarily disagree with lost’s thesis of the losties being some of the most important people for each other during their lifetime and that being the reason why they all end up in the church to move on together but it does irritate me a little that consequently there are people in their lives whose importance is diminished.. like outside of the 70s crew and maybe jack and sun why does juliet care about any of these people. what about her sister

#i feel like a lot of characters in the finale were acting like npcs on jacks perfect dream #ofc i like the finale and think lost couldn’t have ended any other way #but it’s just that they genuinely didn’t care about any character outside like… jack and locke
