I genuinely love Hurley as a character so much, I honestly wasn’t expecting him to have a realistic story with mental health, the fact he has so much anxiety yet still is a beacon of positivity for the rest of the cast will always be special to me, and the fact he was ultimately chosen to protect this magical important island is just so good I love him so much 😭

oh yeah no don't worry about it everything will be fine AS LONG AS you perform this task you KNOW is irrational absolutely perfectly every time it comes up, and as long as you can keep that up everything will be fine and if you stop trying or if you fail something catastrophic will happen and it will be all your fault and sure you know that it's impossible to keep this up forever but you're technically capable of doing it for now regardless of the incredible toll it's taking on you and as long as that remains the case wouldn't it be morally unconscionable to stop trying?
Desmond Hume may not have OCD but his time on the island sure gave him the full experience of it. and for Round 2, back at it again and this time with the added realism of incredibly disturbing unwanted thoughts that are both traumatizing to witness and seemingly your moral responsibility to resolve!
