âIf I had fins right now then Iâd be dying, do you want me to die?â Scowl soon replaced by a smile, lips forced into an upward motion with little fight against the action, especially while in the otherâs presence. His grin making the circumstances much more challenging to fight against. âSays me, Iâm great at detecting lies.â Palm pressed against her chest, intended it to be placed over her heart as a promise, instead of hovering to the right. âWell, I bet you donât know what a royal gramma is or have even seen a jellyfish.â Childish play as she stuck her tongue out in response, not wishing to admit that her lack of knowledge had caused irritation and embarrassment when forced to question every small and insignificant item. His taunt causing her hands to pat down her frame, seeking on the so-called fire than had been burning. âMy â my whatâs on fire?â She spun on the spot, resembling that of a puppy that had made the attempt to catch itâs own tail rather than to distinguish if itâs tail had been on fire. âIâll never believe you or be upset about you not sharing, although you should share them since you called me seaweed.â
âThat depends, seaweed. If I say no, are you going to stop pulling faces at me?â Roman's grin had seemingly become a permanent fixture, the aching of his cheeks barely phasing him. He'd once again experienced the desire to prod at her, solely to witness the scrowl that would surely reappear following his intentional action. Instead, he'd chosen to interlock his fingers, hands becoming a comfortable rest for his chin. "Misty Shore, my own personal Sherlock Holmes." An overdramatic aura to his tone, fractured by the amusement that wouldn't quite disperse as his gaze followed her movements. It had become somewhat of repeative response in the other's presence, incapable of remaining serious for more than a matter of seconds. "Of course I know what a jellyfish is, what do you take me for?" He'd expressed faux offense in response to her remark, purposely avoiding the mention of royal royal gramma due to his knowledge on such a thing, evidently nonexistance. He'd made no attempt to confess such a truth, a look of smugness surely to dominant her features were he to do so. "Your engine â all cars have one." Stated matter of factly, head bobbing along with each word. Her reaction had led to laughter on his part, no attempt made to muffle it as he'd reached out, palms squishing at her cheeks. "You come from the sea, don't you? Seaweeds a perfect name for you."Â
forrestfull-bailey:
âI am! Very sorry!â She turned her voice grave, and slightly dramatic now, nodding along insistently. Bailey opened her mouth, in surprise, before closing it again. She had never heard that one before. âYour car tyres? Why would he take those?â Bailey questioned, puzzled. She pouted now, holding the bottle in her hands as if it was a precious baby. âThen donât use it and stay with your bandaged yellowy purple bruise.â
Romanâs lips twitched following her rather dramatized apology, incapable of suppressing the smile that demanded to form. âThank you for your apology, Forrester.â His own grave tone at play, ruined solely by the laughter that filtered in through each word. Her evident suprise led to the quirk of his eyebrow â a saying he had known from childhood, unfamiliar to others. "You've never heard it before? It's a saying. You know â to stop little cars telling lies." A shrug accompanied his explanation, quite easily recalling several occasion's in which he'd awoken only to instantly check for the presence of his tyres. Laughter bubbled once faced with her pout, eyebrow automatic before he'd leaned foward â right hand sweeping away black hair from his forehead. "Fine, hand it over."
so pouty
castorsilver:
Cas chuckled and nodded his head in agreement. âDunno what kinda bear would leave ya with just a scratch, but the story bear definitely makes it sound more interestinâ, thatâs for sure.â
âThe really small kind?" A weak attempt at reasoning to say the least, Roman's evident wince a consquence of his own stupidity â or more accurately, his inability to concot believable lies under pressure. "Holy Porsche, I should have stuck to the truth."
I need to do both Roman and Angels reply, preferably when I'm not half asleep.
mistyshcre:
âWell, you do realise that sharks are cold-blooded, right? Itâs only natural that my heart is cold too.â Unable to help the scowl in response, cheeks sucking inwards as his finger poked against her cheek and resisting the temptation to turn her head, and clamp her teeth downwards. âYouâd miss me if you didnât stick around, although I still donât know what a tractor is, but I hope itâs a good thing.â Mind trying to find a connection to a tractor or even a word that held any form of similarity, and still she remained clueless. No recollection of anything related to it, however she could assume that it held relation to a car of some form, especially if Roman was anything to go by. âIâm not a liar, I have loads of good ideas.â Arms folding over her chest, lips puffing out into a scowl that had lasted a matter of seconds, laughter bubbling upwards and accepting that she had been caught. âI donât believe you, I doubt you have anything decent going on in there right now.â Index finger prodding gently between his eyebrows, holding the same disbelief that he had only moments ago. âThen surprise me, my little car friend.â
âI donât see any fins, do you?â Romanâs grin remained unphased in the face of the otherâs scowl. On the contrary, it only succeeded in humouring him further, head tilted slightly and eyebrow disappearing beneath his hair line. The impulse to prod at her once more simmered beneath the surface, solely to witness Mistyâs reactions. âSays who? See, you donât even know what a tractor is â youâre an embarrassment.â The faux offense had been temporarily, surrendering quickly to the laughter that bubbled freely from his lips. âLiar, liar, engine on fire.â A childish taunt â one that had been a fairly common resort for cars much younger than himself, and often accompanied by a rather immature display of the tongue. âYou donât have to believe me, just know that Iâm never going to share my amazing ideaâs with you.â Heâd shrugged at that, indifferent facade relatively weak given his inability to suppress the upward tugging of his lips. âWhereâs the fun in that? I canât hand over all my secrets to you, seaweed.â
forrestfull-bailey:
âSorry.â Bailey said, although she let out another soft giggle at that. âOr maybe the bear was chasing you, and thatâs when you ran into the tree?â She suggested. âIâm- iâm not really a good liar either. I donât like lying, actually.â Bailey added. At his words, she felt slightly defensive. âItâs not disgusting! I promise! Itâs- itâs soothing. Helps with bruises and discolouration. Here, hold on-â She was already rifling through her bag, pulling out a wad of bandages and enough pills to start a small pharmacy. Finally, she produced a small homemade bottle of green liquid. âDab it on. Itâs- itâs nice, i promise!â
âYou donât seem sorry.â Romanâs eyebrow quirked at her sound of laughter, lipâs morphing into a smile regardless of the effort made to hold it at bay. âGood thinking, Sherlock. Next time I need a good story, Iâll come to you.â Heâd chosen to reach forward then, hand patting awkwardly at Baileyâs head before treating to his prior position, smile transforming into a much wider grin. "My dad used to tell me that if I told a lie, I'd wake up with my tires missing." The memory brought forth a bubble of laughter on his part, memories of his horrified reaction, flickering through his mind. It took several seconds for his attention to return to her, humour evident in response to her search. The amusement evoperated at the sight of a bottle, gaze flickering between the object in question, and Bailey. "You sure? It's doesn't look nice â it's green."
mistyshcre:
âYes, I am.â Smug almost, Misty had held her head up high in response while her lips had formed into what she had intended to be a smirk, but instead a smile accompanied with puffed out cheeks. ââCause if youâre not going to be interesting then why would I stick around?â Arms folding over her chest, eyes narrowing in on Roman for a brief moment, attempts to remain cold had been much too difficult. Smile already working itâs way in on the corners of her lips. However, the twist of her hair and the gentle tug had allowed a frown to form within moments, hand raising to bat his away, but a few moments too late. His taunt catching her off guard, lips shifting into goldfish motions, no ability to grasp for an answer or substance â or one that heâd find reasonable. âI â I canât tell you my interesting thing or youâd steal it for yourself.â A swift cover up for her fumble at the challenge to produce an interesting activity, unwilling to let him find triumph in the blank she drew. âI canât see you getting many insults anyway, especially when they appear more as compliments.â
âYouâre one cold hearted shark.â Any shred of faux resolve evaporated following her expression, attention shifting from locks of brown and instead, poking childishly at her puffed out cheek. âWhy should I stick around if youâre going to be a lazy old tractor?â A counter response, accompanied by a rather unnecessary wiggle of his eyebrow. Her reaction pulled forth the laughter that had build in the base of his throat, grin on full display with no effort made to suppress it. âLiar, you canât think of any.â His voice laced with teasing, index finger prodding at her cheek once more, before settling into his prior position with an expression that radiated smugness. âIâll have you know, I have enough interestings ideas of my own.â An outward lie to say the least and one he had no intention of confessing to, unable to concoct even the weakest of ideas regardless of allowing his mind to wonder. "You'd be suprised, my little shark friend."
sarosdoppler:
âwell, i hope you donât do that often.â saros chuckled. âprobably not the best thing to do.â he raised a brow, shaking his head. âunless the trees have it out for you. in which caseâŚdonât go in the woods. you may not survive.â
âThat depends on what you label as often.â Embarrassment radiated from Roman in waves, wincing at his own partial confession. Regardless of his heated cheeks, a grin still formed with ease. "Death my vengeful tree â sounds about right." At that, he released a rather exasperated breath, hand settling over the location of his heart. âThe woes of being born a car.â
reesesxpiece:
âOuch, that sounds painful!! Howâd you do that? Are you okay?â
âPainful, maybe. Embarassing, definitely. I ran, and the tree was in front of me, yeah? and so I hit it. Other than the band-aid and my pride â I'm good.â
missmcduck:
âOh, yeahâ I know thereâs nothing sad about it, but I was trying really hard not to say pathetic. Iâm not sorry to say that plenty of people is also really stupid.â
âDo you insult people often? You know, you don't seem like the type who plays well with others. Pathetic, Uncool â aren't they pretty much the same thing? There are a lot of people who are naturally gullible, that doesn't make them stupid."
