Natasha receives a gift from Bran in the same style as their other gifts. This one is styled after an obsidian block, and contains:

A set of five candles.

A trench coat, in black.

A sizable gift certificate to Villainess.

A sizable gift certificate to Black Milk Clothing.

Nat finds herself an excuse to briefly go outside, just so she can wear her new coat, and loads up the pockets with the gift certificates (they won't last long), candles, and a small assortment of weapons she'd had tucked in her purse and cleavage.

There's something about Christmas that makes Natasha both happy and sad. It's not something she was allowed to celebrate before her return to America and sometimes she forgets the minutia of the holiday. She's not really one for feasts or parties and can never figure out what to buy for people, but the lights and the overall feeling of Christmas have always brought a smile to her face. Christmas movies are terrible in a fun way and the local coffee shops bust out all their best flavors of hot chocolate for the occasion. She can get away with too many sweaters and socks and working too much to "pay for everyone's gifts."

She spends this Christmas mostly alone while she gets ready for the wedding and she feels very acutely that something is missing, as with every year. Even when she spends Christmas with Clint, there's always a feeling like she's forgetting someone, like there's someone out there she wants to be sharing this with and can't. She fastens the backs of her earrings and pushes the ghost out of her mind, resolving as always not to think about it anymore. It settles uneasily back into it's place, waiting for next year.

Nat gets one box, wrapped in obsidian paper, waiting for her at the chrimbo party wedding extravaganza.

Inside is a shirt, a hoodie, and a switchblade that all have a matching graphic of “Feminist Killjoy” written on parchment paper, with three hearts in the background.

There is also a survival kit, with a note. “I realised too late this is useless, but you never know. It’s a nice backpack, anyway.”

Finally, there’s a gun-shaped coffee mug, along with a bag of intensely strong coffee.

Natasha's new hoodie may not go with her dress, but that's not going to stop her from wearing it. She thinks she will maybe have to cancel her New Years plans of teaching JARVIS to insult Tony.

Maybe.

Like all of Clint’s presents, Nat’s are wrapped in the funny papers and taped up just slightly crooked. Can’t be good at everything.

Nat receives:

A variety of weapons.

Some cat stuff.

A marshmallow shooter and several bags of marshmallows.

Vodka and rum.

Some ugly but incredibly comfortable slippers, in black.

Natasha takes a moment to appreciate the wrapping job Clint clearly laboured over before tearing into the gifts themselves. She immediately puts on the slippers and plans her marshmallow offensive strike.

He'll never see it coming.

There's leftover paint under the sink in the kitchen. Sand down the plaster and paint over it.

The only person who I will accept as being in my league right now nails-wise is Bran but if you're not them, you need to step up your game to compete with this.
