Okay so, me being a giant history nerd, was intrigued about all the historical details in the Witcher game and I wanted to look at them closely. And one thing that got me was the Glagolitic script (a 9th century Slavic alphabet) that’s used as the writing system in the Witcher games. So I went around translating random shit. A lot of stuff is in Polish but there’s a lot of stuff in English too.

So I translated the book that appears on some of the saddlebags you get in the game, thinking “oh hey maybe its a bestiary or a herb book”

Nah.

Other details I found are:

The road signs/fast travel points say “Mind the Gap”

In the intro/tutorial where you find Vesemir asleep, there’s books and a piece of paper on the floor where Ciri has been practicing writing her name and its adorable.

Some of the text is reversed for some reason
