Some frame grabs from our amazing filming trip in Chennai India. We (littleBIG Films) were there to getting footage of a filmmaking workshop that World Vision is doing with kids living on the street. These kids and their instructor Ajitson were some of the most amazing people I've met in a long time.
This is blowing my mind. The possibilities being made possible by new technologies is almost too much to keep track of, and the ways that people are putting them to creative use is even more inspiring.
I write. Sometimes it’s software, for which I have a battalion of performance-focused machines. But sometimes it’s words, and that’s a different matter. Performance doesn’t matter so much, but portability suddenly becomes key – and indeed endurance. Two different scenarios, each with their own overriding concerns. If I tried to select a machine to cover both, my options would be limited to terminally constrained products, where the designers just threw their hands up in the air. I’d end up with something that performed each task at the expense of the other. What I actually need (and have) are two different devices. A very simple realisation, but one that we tend to forget.

The latest episode of Facing Justice and the first one I was completely responsible for. I think it worked out ok. I was lucky that there was some really interesting stuff going on at the court. Old tapes of Khieu Samphan and other leaders. Judges calling defence cousel names. What's not to love?

The government isn't a homeowner and national debt isn't a credit card balance! I get this analogy all the time and it doesn't work - the role of governments in a downturn is not the same as individuals. In fact, it's often the opposite.
