alcohol amnesia // M & F are next door neighbors who spent their entire childhood together. they played with each other nearly everyday in a tree house that sat in the middle of both of their property lines. however, everything changed when they hit middle school. boys and girls weren’t allowed to be friends and they completely stopped talking. now, with six years of silence between them, they’re in completely different social circles and are worlds apart. F hangs out with the popular crowd, goes to parties every night, and drinks until she’s a stumbling mess. M only has two friends, studies until he falls asleep, and has a 4.3 gpa due to his AP classes. with their windows still right next to each other, M constantly sees F sneaking back into her room after a night of wild partying. one day, M sees that F is having particular trouble due to her sloppy drunkenness and helps her quietly enter her house. this becomes routine — he picks her up from whatever party she’s at, cleans her up, gives her fluids, sneaks her in, puts her to bed, sets medicine on her nightstand for her hangover, etc. M never interacts with F unless she’s intoxicated and F only remembers a limited amount of M's assistance due to her drunken state. however, M realizes that he’s been missing F this entire time and is slowly beginning to fall for her after listening to her slurred fears, dreams, and desires. but will F ever be sober long enough to know if she feels the same way?
like, can you imagine…
F kissing M's neck while she's drunk and asking him to fuck her but he refuses bcos she's drunk even though he really wants to…
one of F's friends asking her who the guy was that took her home and F realizing it was M and wondering why he took care of her…
M confessing his feelings to F bcos he knows that she won’t remember it the next morning but he needs to get it off his chest…
M staying the night with F bcos she won’t stop puking and needs someone to get her to the toliet, hold her hair back, clean her up, etc…
M's family hosting a party and F and her family coming over, they both have so many questions but don’t know how to bring it up…
F sending M drunk texts/snaps asking her to pick her up from a party or come back to her house after he put her to bed. F sees the texts/snaps the next day but never asks M about them…
will someone please give me an ‘exes who still live together because money is tight and it just gets really complicated’

dubiium:
she smirked at him, her hazel hues almost gleaming. she thought about his question, though quickly shrugged her shoulders. “don’t know yet, actually.” she answered nonchalantly, biting down on her bottom lip. she didn’t exactly know why she were doing this, or what the sole purpose of it was; maybe to just fool around, experiment with something — or, in this case, someone. “you interest me, and i was just wondering, if you’d wanna come to small get together tonight at my house.” and, of course, by small get together, she means a party. she looked up at him with hopeful eyes and a bright smile, tucking a piece of golden hair behind her ear as she awaited an answer.
he interested her? well that was certainly new. but a small get together sounded like it would be fun. maybe they could have intellectual debates and discussions. he didn't get the chance to do that with many people, most of whom seemed to be afraid to talk to him. of course he had no idea that by "small get together" she meant a party, which he had never been to. he smiled in return, nodding his head. "yeah, sure. sounds like fun." he pulled up a new contact entry on his phone and then looked back up at the girl. "can i get your number so i can get your address later?"
