I think we should also appreciate how he took the time out of his days to visit kids at the St. Jude hospital while still battling with his own cancer. He was a real life superhero to not only me but millions of people <3

Chadwick knew he had a limited amount of time left on this earth so he lived every single day to the fullest. He made five fantastic movies, brought a king to life on our screens, marched in the streets for the rights of so many people, and married the woman he loved.

Don’t just remember Chadwick for the movies he made. Remember him for the incredible man that he was. Because he lived. He lived.

That's what you'd said, wasn't it? That's what you said with your whole chest with your arms crossed over it. Like you meant what you were saying, each damn time, with a proud smile to boot.

You never know what goes on behind a smile, I suppose.

I can't imagine the sort of pain you were in. All while you worked and worked and worked to deliver us the performances of a lifetime. I remember reading somewhere that you didn't drop the accent you used as T'challa even off set, because that's how dedicated you were.

I didn't watch the movies you were in before black panther. I was hoping there would be more after.

There should've been.

But there won't be, and that's not fine, that isn't close to being fine, but everything you've done so far is more than enough to earn you a place amongst the stars. You paved the way for more black heroes in the MCU.

You can't now, not anymore, so I'll say it again for you: Wakanda Forever. You'll live on, through your work, through the millions of lives and hearts you've touched, even if you aren't here to see it right now. I hope you passed knowing how loved you were.

You were a part of my life, as you were so many others'. I hope your family gets all the strength and support they need to get through this loss.
