When my dog, Tanner, died last week at the age of thirteen, the grief that overwhelmed me was so intense. No one ever tells you that when your dog is dying, it feels like a human is dying.

SANITIZING AMERICAN HISTORY posted on Blogger August 25, 2020 by Ronald J. Pawley
“It can take years to mold a dream. It takes only a fraction of a second for it to be shattered.”
History exploitation is to rearrange the facts and change the face of truth.
We all experience moments of stress and frustration. It seems that there is always something happening that encompasses full focusing on the negative energy and draining the positive, according to Pawley.
As our society grows more and more complex, compounding the dilemma with social isolation due to the corona virus epidemic and social unrest throughout the country, finding inner peace becomes much more challenging.
Sharing the following article might be helpful highlighting some methods to experience inner peace and disconnect from the chaotic daily routine:
“You can’t stop the waves, but you can learn to surf” is an apt metaphor for life, notes Jon Kabat-Zinn in his book Wherever You Go, There You Are. Indeed, we can’t control what a given day or period in our lives has in store, but we can learn to ride the waves when things get rough. If you tend to get derailed by stress or focus on the negative, welcome to the human condition! A new study underscores the power of meditation to keep us on an even keel so that we’re better able to cope with life’s challenges. In the study, a group of adults who had varying levels of experience with meditation (from none to a lot) were exposed to both positive and negative feedback. An EEG, which records electrical activity in the brain, revealed that the neurological response to negative feedback was highest in those who didn’t meditate (aka, they got riled) and lowest in experienced meditators (they maintained inner calm). What’s more, experienced meditators were more likely to learn from negative experiences rather than focusing on the negative aspects. This study echoes many others that link regular meditation with an improved response to stress. In mindfulness meditation, you sit comfortably and pay attention to your breathing, and when thoughts or feelings arise, you simply notice them, without judgment, and gently direct your attention back to your breathing. Signing up for a course in mindfulness meditation is a great way to get started on this simple but powerful habit, or check out our Stress Free Now online program to learn about mindfulness meditation and other strategies for managing stress and boosting positive energy.
