now that Dungeon Meshi has an official English translation, i hope someday Kui’s other work will get translated too. this anthology was really good, and this story was one of my favorites

this is getting a lot of reblogs lately and i’m so glad. i know people hype Ryoko Kui a lot but she really is that good at comics, and this 75%-tongue-in-cheek 10 page comic unironically showcases what makes all the politics and worldbuilding in Dungeon Meshi so good. some one please publish her other short stories in English please please please

New Background Layout for the ol portfolio. Learnt a lot from this one, but mainly that I can skip some steps. Must've drawn the thing 5 times.

Backstory is a teen finds out she is a werewolf and after a rampage and almost getting caught she asks her firends to chain her up in the old abandoned shed.

Unfortunately her friends return to find she's broken free due to the moonlight leeking in from the roof!
