💜 My second doll, Lily.

For her wig I used natural mohair locks that I washed an dyed (the tips are a very pale purple)

Its very fun to work with natural fiber!

Lily and Mora are both made from air dry clay (cold porcelain to be precise) and i "casted" each of the 20 + pieces in very weird push molds i made myself .

They stand about 13 inches tall. Even though they have a very unusual size and shape (I don’t think clothes made for other dolls would fit them), I can’t help but wonder if miniature shoes for BJDs might work...

Satisfying Roombox moments 🗝️

Here's my first character! I took these pics when she was finally finished and you can see some of the roombox i made for her at the time.

🧵✂️I think the most difficult part for me was sewing her clothes: everything is tiny, half the time idk what I'm doing and for some reason sewing makes my back/ neck feel horrible in a way other crafts don't...

Despite that, I somehow managed to complete her outfit and it looks decent even though the seams are not very straight and the edges could be neater.

I'm very proud of her but I still couldn't come up with a story for this character...

🌱 This is the sculpting process for the base doll from which two sisters were born.

🌞 Others I sent eager and excited to my friends showing them my progress, amazed that her joints actually fit and moved properly.

I started working on them about 5 years ago with considerable hiatus between them.

🌙✨ Some of these pics I took as I worked , often at night and with my working lamp as only light source, mostly to find out what she looked like in camera.

Today I share them here, like a message in a bottle, hoping it inspires and encourages someone to make art, as much as others artists inspired me first 🎨
