Type of s I had to do with water and hairdryer in order to lay the strands the way I wanted btw.

💜 Mi segunda muñeca, Lily.

Para la peluca usé mechones de mohair natural que lavé y teñí (las puntas son de un violeta muy pálido, aunque creo que se fue destiñiendo con la luz solar y el tiempo)

Nunca habia usado fbras naturales y me resultó muy placentero trabajar con pelito que se puede lavar y teñir con los mismos productos que uso para mi propio pelo.

Lily y Mora están hechas de porcelana fria y “moldeé” cada una de las más de 20 piezas en moldes de silicona a presión bastante extraños que me tocó ingeniar.

Miden alrededor de 34 cm.

My magnum opus thus far

Handmade Jonathan Crane BJD (my version of crane)

I made him completely from scratch out of clay. I started sometime in January and finished a day ago. It took absolutely forever. I am very proud of him and think he’s gorgeous even if his head is too big and his clothes are too bulky. I knitted his sweater and it was the first thing I have ever knitted (after one failed attempt). I love him.

I took inspiration from many sources for his design. Hair from dc dark legion and also metal rockstars. Eyes from cillian Murphy scarecrow because I loved how scary his eye were, however I’m not sure how I feel about him being blonde haired and blue eyed. I need to add a bit more eyeshadow into his hair to make it less platinum blonde. Anyway, the leg brace was from Arkham knight. The sweaters is technically from Btas but that’s not where I got it from, I’d just think he’d wear that

I made a bjd kinda thingy! It was my first experience making anything articulated, and I think that for a first attempt it didn't turn out that bad

Their eyes stare right into your soul :)

Around early september/october I saw a post from a very cool bjd artist about how they made their first doll. So I got inspired and sculpted all of the pieces of this little guy in one evening. Then I didn't have time or materials so I put this project off but it's finally done!!!

All the other photos are without the cloak, to show the figure and the joints better

Although I've made many mistakes along the way, making this doll was still a very fun experience!! I hope I'll get to use the things I've learnt while making this in my future projects :)
