💜 My second doll, Lily.
For her wig, I used locks of natural mohair that I washed and dyed. The tips were originally a very pale violet, although I think the color gradually faded over time with exposure to sunlight.
It was my first time working with natural fibers, and I found it incredibly enjoyable to use hair that could be washed and dyed with the same products I use on my own hair.
Lily and Mora are made from air dry clay. I hand "casted" each of their more than 20 individual parts using rather unusual multi - part push molds that I had to come up with because we dont involve ourselves in the affairs of plastic resin in this studio.
They stand about 34 cm (13.4 inches) tall.
