They had laughed and laughed as they tortured him. To send a message. And then one had picked up a chess piece. A muggle chess piece. One that glowed and pulsed. One that caused the air around it to shimmer. Words had been said. Illness and curse thrown about.
Title: A Man’s Heart Rating: R Summary: “Thank you so much for this dinner invitation! I knew it was only a matter of time, with all this chemistry between us. I’m looking forward to spending more time with you!” Ron somehow manages to turn his groan into a cough at the last second, prompting MacDonald to slap him on the back and look concerned. Perfect, Ron reminds himself, forcing a smile and not pushing him away as he wants to. Ron didn’t have the heart to tell MacDonald he is nothing more than a prop to show his cheating boyfriend what it feels like. Ron should have thought of something better than wanting to get to know him. This will be as much torture for him as it will be for Draco. Although, maybe he can get rid of MacDonald when it turns out there is an angry Draco instead of dinner waiting for him. Maybe Draco will throw him out when he comes to all the wrong conclusions Ron deliberately leads him to. Put like that, his plan is rather cruel. Then again, so is actually cheating and thinking him too dumb to notice. Yes, Draco deserves much worse this. Before he changes his mind, Ron opens the door for MacDonald.
Title: While You Were Sleeping Rating: PG-13 Summary: No, no, it was because if Ron didn’t manage to speak then Draco would find out from the Daily Prophet that Ron had died in a back alley after being hit by a curse from a Death Eater. If Ron didn’t somehow tell Harry the truth now, Draco would never know how he truly felt. Because Draco had made Ron swear to not tell his loved ones they were dating—not yet, not until Draco was ready. And Ron had agreed. But now, as he lay dying on a sidewalk in some random Muggle town, Ron rather wished he would’ve broken that particular promise. When Ron doesn’t return home from a mission as expected, Draco has to swallow his pride and figure out what happened to him.

What if all you have left is memories, and the person she fell in love with when you were too busy dealing with your own issues? Loving and loosing someone who you were never really in love with. Ron and Draco make a good go of it, and Ron gives the gift of closure to Severus.

Cute AU Idea
Ron is a single dad who has full custody of Rose and Hugo. They live in a very cute little neighborhood where one day a miss Hermione Granger moves in next door. She’s brining her boxes in and Ron is out in the front garden playing with the kids when he sees his new neighbor and asks Rose and Hugo “shall we go and help her” and they eagerly respond with yes. They go up to Hermione and ask if she wants some help which she gladly accepts because “the more the merrier” there’s just something about Ron that she likes straight away and they become good friends and Rose and Hugo take a shine to her as well. She asks Ron out to dinner as a way to say thank you for helping out. They hit it off really well and go on a few more dates which leads to them eventually dating which then leads to them getting married and they all become one big happy family

Ron started weeping happily when he held Rose in his arms for the first time.
Both Rose and Hugo loved Ron reading them bedtime stories. He was really good at doing all the voices. Hermione used to watch her husband fondly from the doorway; since he was so wonderful with their kids.
Ron often used to give his kids piggyback rides on the way home from school (Hermione really wanted them to have some muggle schooling, and Ron agreed).
Half the mums at Rose’s nursery had a crush on Ron. He was oblivious, and thought they were just being nice. To be fair to them, most people thought Ron was adorable around his kids.
Ron sung ‘English Rose’ to Rose every night before she went to sleep, right up until she went away to Hogwarts.
Ron often brushes Rose and Hugo’s hair for them. They’d inherited their mothers enormously bushy hair (albeit in vivid red colours), and Hermione knew from experience that Ron was brilliant at untangling the knots.
Hermione is more of a disciplinarian than Ron is, whereas Ron in the fun parent. Ron’s focus was always on his loved ones, so it made sense when he became a house-husband.
Hermione often came back from a day at the Wizengamot to find Ron reading their children one of Hermione’s childhood novels while he cooks their dinner. Her heart melts everytime.
Whenever Rose had a muggle football match at primary school, Ron would be cheering her on from the sidelines.
Hugo displayed an early aptitude for acting, so Ron would take him to acting lessons, and watch his performances with happy tears in his eyes.
Hermione would often spend hours just watching Ron having fun with their kids. He’d often pretend to be a horse so Rose and Hugo could ride on his back.
Ron taught both his children to fly. Rose took to it fairly quickly, although Hugo was a little shy at first. Within a few weeks, however, all three of them were happily zooming around (a slightly-wary Hermione would observe from the ground).
According to rumour, Hugo was conceived because Hermione got a little… carried away after Ron spent the day making a new cot for their nursery. Ron can neither confirm nor deny these rumours, but he goes bright red everytime the matter is mentioned.
Ron Weasley as the best dad ever, everyone.
