💥PROMPTS! (for when you want to send an OC artist some asks… but don't know anything about their characters yet)
Which one of your ocs would you want to dress like if you could get away with it?
Which one of your ocs *actually *dresses the most similarly to you?
What is a fact about one of your ocs that you've never gotten to share with someone before?
Which one of your ocs do you wish people would pay more attention to?
Do you ever put your ocs into alternative universes/settings? If you do, tell us about one of them!
Do you have any ocs who started out as fan characters, or as adaptations of canon characters who eventually became their own thing? If so, what did their character progression look like?
Which of your ocs has the most tragic backstory and why?
Which one of your ocs would you consider the weirdest, and why?
Which of your ocs do you think you would get along with best in real life?
Which one of your ocs do you think you would dislike the most in real life?
Do you have an oc "type?" (AKA, are there any design or characterization trends that you notice popping up amongst your characters?)
Do you ship any of your ocs together? If so, introduce one of the pairings!
Are any of your ocs enemies? If so, why are they opposed to one another?
Have any of your ocs been re-written? If so, what did their old version look like vs their new one?
[FREE SPACE] - Introduce us to one of your ocs!
The wizard aesir for @/moon01!
Evolution of some nighttime scenes, 2023-2026. I really like the third one, I fear I went too bright in the most recent piece.

5, 6, 16, 19 for Hedwig!
5- Is there any significance behind their hair color?Â
Yes! Hedwig's hair is inspired by Claudia's from the Interview with the Vampire book/movie. Hedwig is meant to look like someone who others would assume innocence of, hence the youthful blonde curls.
6- Is there any significance behind their eye color?
Only that I think brown eyes are very beautiful and wanted to draw them. They have the additional bonus of there being an ambiguity between certain shades of brown and red, so I can make her look a little more vampiric (red-eyed) at times while technically maintaining her natural brown eye color.
16- What is something about your OCÂ that can make you cry?Â
Everything! Hedwig lost her home to a seige and her entire family were killed the same night she was transformed (against her will) into a vampire. Atop the crushing grief and lonliness, she now has to deal with her hunger and the associated guilt forever, which is a sickeningly long time ðŸ˜
19- What is your favorite fact about your OC?
My favorite fact is that her main backstory inspiration is that of Alistair from Twilight: Breaking Dawn, whose backstory was only ever disclosed in the Twilight Illustrated Guide 😂
Questions About Creating Your OCs
‘Cause sometimes the stories of how OCs come to be are just as interesting as the OCs, themselves. Tell me how your virtual kids came into the world.
What was the first element of your OC that you remember considering (name, appearance, backstory, etc.)?Â
Did you design them with any other characters/OCs from their universe in mind?Â
How did you choose their name?Â
In developing their backstory, what elements of the world they live in played the most influential parts?Â
Is there any significance behind their hair color?Â
Is there any significance behind their eye color?Â
Is there any significance behind their height?Â
What (if anything) do you relate to within their character/story?Â
Are they based off of you, in some way?Â
If they have an LI, how much of their character is tailored to be compatible to that person?Â
Did you know what the OC’s sexuality would be at the time of their creation?Â
What have you found to be most difficult about creating art for your OC (any form of art: writing, drawing, edits, etc.)?Â
How far past the canon events that take place in their world have you extended their story, if at all?Â
If you had to narrow it down to 2 things that you MUST keep in mind while working with your OC, what would those things be?Â
What is something about your OC can make you laugh?Â
What is something about your OC can make you cry?Â
Is there some element you regret adding to your OC or their story?Â
What is the most recent thing you’ve discovered about your OC?Â
What is your favorite fact about your OC?
