This is a GOOD cosplay.
Too powerful not to reblog.
For all those people who have fought or are still fighting.
Who got through it or who didn’t.
Reblog it for them.
Does anyone else think that Arthur has become a major douche in season four?
He never jokes around anymore. Every amazing and hilarious bromance moment goes out the window because Arthur is being a straight faced fuck head. It's like after the Embrace (I can't believe I just referred to it as such...god help me, I'm a fucking fangirl -_-) episode all their "best friends/brothers in arms" crap flew out the window and now Merlin is stuck trying to add comedy back into the show and Arthur is just sitting around with his thumb up his ass and scowling at everything.
The knights have been depressing me too. Gwaine was one of my favorites and it's like he went from badass, drunken slob to the stupid ass wipe in the corner. He's just a pretty face now. I miss his friendship with Merlin and how rude he used to be to Arthur.
I adore this show, don't get me wrong, I just think it's lost some of it's chemistry and it's depressing the hell out of me.
Actually, I just love this movie.
I love this song.
Undefinable . . .
She is twenty years today and feeling undefinable.
Too old to still be considered a child but still too young to have any real understanding.
She can't decide on how to dress anymore.
When she was younger it was ripped up jeans and baggy t-shirts.
Being on the cusp of adulthood, she's unsure of how to express her identity through clothes.
She's unsure of her identity and standing at a fork in the road.
Her hands, cracked and torn, are shoved deep in the pockets of her thin red duster.
She worries her lip into chapped shreds as she examines each path.
Both roads look almost identical with the exception of coloring.
She's always been a fan of bright.
The vivid greens, reds, and blues of the left path entice her; tousling her hair with whispers of passion.
But she is trying to be a good girl and the right path tugs at her conscience; pushing her fathers voice to the forefront until she can feel the prick of his words in her tear ducts.
"You'll never be worth anything if you follow your heart over your head," and the child inside screams back that the world is at her fingertips if she would only grasp it.
Murmurs of her past echo on the wind and with a choked cry, she closes her eyes to shut them out.
She takes a breath, then another and slowly begins to spin.
Faster and faster she twirls until the churning in her stomach becomes too much.
Eyes still closed, she takes a step.
She opens her eyes to find a world of color and shape she never could have dreamed.
Self confidence and relief rush into her and she breathes in the freedom, exhaling it in laughter.
This is from the slut walk. One of the arguments is that girls ask for rape because they wear slutty clothes, short skirts, tight, low-cut tops. This girl is an example of the fact that rape victims can look like anyone, you, me, this girl. Rapists. Dont. Discriminate.
fallingfate:
I promised a long time ago that I’d reblog this whenever I saw it on my dash. No regrets, it breaks my heart every single time.
an incredibly important message, rape is rape. no one is ever asking for it. a woman has the right to dress how ever they want - it is society that identifies risque dressing as ‘asking for it’, and in my opinion, that way of thinking needs to be diminished.
…It’s all based on prejudism, which was taught to us in elementary school, really. It’s truly incredible, but not surprising, how we can forget something so vital as we grow old.
