Really cute DIY I found on a dutch website called Roomed! (promise it’s not an ad haha)
Hiya, my room is really small and has pink walls, I can't repaint at the moment and was wondering if you had any tips on how to make my room cosier and to help cover up the pink walls? Thanks :)
To cover up walls if you can’t paint!... Uhh what I did to my wardrobe (which was pink) a few years ago was to buy sticky plastic with a plain white pattern and cover the wardrobe. You could do this to you wall. Or you could hang up curtains along the walls, or a cloth!
To make your room cosier I’d suggest put up some fairy lights, hang up some of your photos, put out some candles and add some cushions and blankets!
Sorry for the extremely late reply! xxx Hope this reaches you somehow haha
Here’s some photos of wall cover ideas for you (sorry they’re not really in minimalistic/urban theme but it’s the idea that counts):
Whats your favorite room style? Contemporary, coastal, modern, minimalistic, etc etc. . . Personally im a fan of minimalistic but its not very functional. 👀
Minimalistic, I’m a real fan of urban outfitters inspired rooms haha. Whites, golds and grays... Functional as in? I reckon if you make use of your space you’re fine haha. It depends how you choose to use your room I suppose
Hi there I just saw your pictures and I love them 💖💖💖
Thank youuuu <3
I have so many things in my room and its constantly messy. I get rid of things but it doesn't seem to help. I also get tired of how I set my room up so its constantly changing. I'm a teenager and can't do much to help it but I would greatly appreciate if you gave me pointers on how to keep it clean and less looking like a child stays in it.
Hey hey, the thing with mess is that it’s unavoidable. I always always always have a pile of clothes on what I like to call ‘the chair’: which just keeps growing until I put everything away again.
Tiny teeny little mistake...
Hey everyone, okay I just realised this huge mistake I’ve made
I never realised there were messages in my message box, and was only answering things in my ask box!! (Or other way round, not sure), so super sorry! I have no idea how long messages have been there but I’m answering now! (also prepare for the spam of answered messages upcoming)! xx
The colour scheme <3
Some ideas for nightside tables!
Goals ❤️
Hey, my room is a big loftish type and has alot of potential. But, my room looks like it belongs to a 12 year old. I have a full size bed with princess sheets. My walls are hot pink and my furniture's purple. Im going to paint my walls and get new furniture/Queen size mattress and i have some ideas on how to fix it. But, i want to know if you can tell me how to make it less middle school and more indie teen.
Sorry I didn’t see your message until now (you probably sent this in ages ago, sorry :( ), hahah this situation sounds very very familiar. Obviously depending on your budget and if your parents will allow it; you need to change the colour scheme of your room. The walls are a huge thing, so good that you’ve already decided to paint them, go for light, natural colours. As for the rest, if your furniture is all purple, you can try using sandpaper and some diy-ing to paint them white too (if they’re wood), or you can get this sticky plastic (maybe a different colour like white marble etcetc) that you can stick over purple furniture (this is what I did with my pink wardrobes!). As for the rest, look at your room as if your a stranger and eliminate traces of any child room (we sometimes tend to look over things when we’re used to them being there) but for example a collection of books thats on display, or the flowery photo frames on the wall. You can replace these things by getting for example some plants or some accessories from a store like urban outfitters which sell really cool posters. Good luck! Sorry it took so long x
