Can we all just take a moment to appreciate how next-level Naruto’s feelings for Sasuke were? He valued his bond with him so much that he never so much as hesitated to throw the rest of his life away for him. Naruto was willing to sacrifice his lifelong dream of becoming hokage to save Sasuke, knowing that fighting against him would most likely result in the loss of both of their lives. It didn’t matter that he would lose the significant number of strong friendships and bonds he had worked hard to forge over the years.
