Zeph: You are though, babyface, curiosity... definitely innocent.
Zeph: How are things?
Rory: ... I'm am not.
Rory: I am *very* good, actually.
Rory: I ... I am good, and yourself?
Text | Rory & Zeph
Zeph: Hey you little innocent irishman!
Rory: Oi, you know fer a fact I'm not innocent.
alex-abrams:
“I am sometimes.” He laughed as he looked over at Rory and gave a playful smile. “There’s a baked thee cheese ziti. I think I might try that.” He mused, looking at the menu and ordering the ziti. Alex looked at the menu some more, deciding on two pieces of tiramisu before finding the rigatoni and putting it in for Rory.”
Rory’s eyes scoured over the other before relaxing for a moment. “Well, I’ll be stealin’ a bit or two of yours, for the record.” He laughed a little “But I’ll share, I’m not feckin’ heartless.” he reasoned before pressing a quick kiss to the other’s cheek --- that was normal, right? He’d never dated a Dude, was this was weird? Was he being weird?
alex-abrams:
He chuckled a little when the other pressed his finger against his lips. “Something fun and saucy, hm? I think I can come up with something fun and saucy.” Alex chuckled again before looking at his phone to see what Italian restaurants were open for delivery. “Do you have a preference for what kind of pasta?”
“Oh, you are cheeky, aren’t you?” He laughed, before leaning forward and resting his head on the other’s shoulder, looking at his phone. “I do not, Something good, I could do. --- like a rigatoni, or something of the like.” he motioned, his eyes searching all over the menu.
alex-abrams:
“You really just want to look at me, huh?” Alex laughed. “Yeah, she’s really perceptive like that. It’s one of the things I like about her. I don’t think you have anything to worry about. I don’t think she wants a commitment with me.” He rubbed the back of his head. At least he didn’t think Liv was wanting to date again.
“Pasta honestly sounds amazing. I’ve been working all day and could use a carb overload.” He mused, watching the other’s arm.
“I --- think you’re right.” Rory shrugged. His eyes looked over the other before moving his finger to press against the others lips. “Let’s do it, something fun and saucy.” He offered a little shoulder wiggle before removing his hand and settling back into his seat.
alex-abrams:
“We can do a low key night. I could make something or we could order out. It’s up to you, really.” He chuckled and smiled at Rory. “Yes, we can.” Alex nodded. He listened closely as he wrapped his arms around the other man. “I will always be into you at the end. Besides, the only person I’d ever consider a threesome with is Liv, to be honest.”
“Let’s order in, like -- then I can just look at ya.” He laughed. “Yeah, Liv is somethin’ I --- was a little threatened when she first came into the picture, but I think she was more convinced of ya feelings for me than I was.” Rory chuckled. “What do ya think --- hot dogs? Ooooh, Chicken wings, or pasta? .” He said, letting his arm crawl up the others.
Rory wasn’t really sure what he was getting himself into. After being sure that Alex wasn’t into, he discovered he was, had a threesome, and --- then continued hanging out? Were all of these hangouts --- dates? Should he be bringing Flowers or something? He was thankful for the day off after the memorial day holiday, and figured he’d stop by Alex’s to see if he was home. He shuffled in his stance, was he nervous? Why did all of this have to be so vague? Should he just ask what the deal was? He knocked a few times, hoping for a response.
“I see. In that case we can just hang out here unless you want to go out when you see me.” He noted, then noticed the blush. “I like you, a lot, too.” Thinking for a moment, Alex hummed. “If you want to make this a thing, we can definitely make this a thing.” His lips turned up into a smile
“Does this mean no more threesomes?” He teased, reaching for Rory’s hand
“I mean, this is nice, I’m --- happy for a low-key night.” He laughed a little before a blush filled his cheeks. “We can?” he questioned. “ I mean --- I’m not *opposed* to threesomes, but -- I kind of like knowing you’re like -- into me at the end, you know? For my confidence.” he said proudly.
alex-abrams:
Alex loved the intimacy that seemed so natural between the two of them. Ever since the threesome, he’d noticed some kind of chemistry. “I agree that that’s the kind of vibe we give off. I’d honestly have stopped by yours by now if I knew which one you’re in.” A slight chuckle fell from his lips as he turned to face Rory.
Nodding his head, he showed he was listening. He didn’t know what to call this. Whatever it was was organic, and Alex liked it, but what did they want it to be? “What do you want it to be?” He asked with a small smile.
“Well, with my brother home, it can be a bit of a mess, and --- I like yours better, to be truthful.” He commented. He felt a blush rise in his cheeks. “I dunno, I like -- you a lot, and I think it’s pretty apparent you’re a fan of me, so --- maybe we make this a thing? If ya want to, obviously, or we can keep feelin’ around and foolin’ around.” He said quickly. “Unless you have any like staunch opinions on the matter, if so, I’d love to hear ‘em.” He said quietly, letting his hand reach for Alex’s.
alex-abrams:
Alex shut the door behind Rory and went over to his laptop to shut the lid. He’d get back to work later, but for now he wanted to have as much attention on Rory as possible. “I’m usually home, and if you’re not sure, you can always text me. My phone’s always beside me or in my pocket.” He smiled. “I’m glad you wanted to see me. I’ve been thinking about you.” He sat on the couch.
“I’m going good. Full of caffeine.” A chuckle left Alex as he blushed a little. “You know, you look good, too.” He smiled at the other man and sat on the couch, putting his arm on the back of the couch behind Rory.
The intimacy between the two felt so incredibly organic. “Cute, well, I’m glad you’re good, and you’re glad ta see me... like -- I dunno, I supposed I would like -- stop by, and see ya, because that’s kind of the vibe we’re givin’ off?” he questioned quickly. “Can I ask ye somethin? I just gotta know, like, we’ve been messing around for a bit, and it’s grand if ya’d rather play the field, but I gotta know like, what *is* this, Alex?” he asked quickly, just wanting to get it out.
Alex had been thinking a lot about Rory the past few days. Were they a thing? Did Rory want to be a thing, or did they just want to continue hanging out and possibly hooking up? What if Rory didn’t want anything to do with him after that threesome? All of these questions kept replaying in his head while he feverishly tried to play catch up with his work. The funk really did take more time than he anticipated. Sitting at his computer and typing, he heard knocking at the door. He hadn’t been expecting anyone and wondered who it could be as he hit save and made his way to the door.
When he opened the door and saw Rory standing there, he was hit with a wave of relief that it wasn’t something bad, but then was hit with nervousness. “Hi.” He greeted before stepping aside. “Did you want to come in?”
Rory felt the nervousness from the wait dissipate as the door opened. He smiled and shoved his hands in his pockets. “Oi, I’d love ta.” he said, allowing himself inside of Alex’s apartment. “I was hopin’ ya were home, I had the day off, and I wanted ta see ya.” he said earnestly, letting himself take a moment before sitting on the couch and relaxing a bit. “So --- how are ya today, I --- guess I’m just here to bother ya.” He laughed a little, looking the other over, up and down. “You look good.” he commented, letting the moment pass over them.
