buying books and reading books are two different hobbies. i happen to be apart of the multitude that buys more books than i read.

Good books can make you homesick for places you have never been.
books
it is hard to find more than one person who enjoys books as you do. some books are things of the past now. this is sad to say but, if it wasn’t for booktok, i would be apart of the crowd that “doesn’t like books.”
i believe that books are something important. books can be companions, trustees, best friends, etc. technology is something that we see a ton of in this day & time, unlike books. there isn’t a big census of people who love books like some of us academics do.
the readers matter. we pay the authors. we inspire the authors. we love the authors. we matter to them, and to the world. without readers, the world would be wearisome.
