Since I reread the Harry Potter series while studying abroad, I’ve had an idea of Comte with an adopted daughter who gets her Hogwarts letter. She’s her dad’s little delight and he loves to dote on her once she gets into the world of magic.
She needs a cauldron for potions? He’ll buy her that solid gold one Harry was eyeing his first year. The owls at Hogwarts are always busy being used by other students? No problem, he’ll get her the most expensive owl from the store for her own because he needs her to send a million letters so he won’t miss her. She gets into (insert house), he’ll buy her every regalia for that house and suddenly the mansion is a (insert house) home. She thinks a Niffler is cute? He’ll buy her one (and then regret it when it runs around the manor stealing stuff from the other residents).
Either way, he’s just a proud, doting dad to his little witch.
