Artist Inserts Smiths Lyrics into Peanuts Comic Strip in Tribute Titled “This Charming Charlie”

Graphic designer Lauren LoPrete pays homage to the beloved Charlie Brown comics and Morrissey lyrics by merging the two together in a humorous comic series titled “This Charming Charlie” on her Tumblr. The graphic designer combines the iconic black and white Peanuts comic strips with popular 80s rock band, The Smiths’ lyrics to give the lively and fun cartoon a satirical twist filled with wise and somber words from Morrissey.
