·Since working at Wild Angel Entertainmentâs, Midori hadnât interacted much with the other people working there mostly due to his personality. It did help that he knew many people there from his old high school, pursuing what their dreams and using what they had studied into their career. Midori wasnât like that. History repeated itself as he accidentally signed up to be part of the agency when he had intended to find a job at the aquarium. How was his luck that terrible?
·Avoiding the crowd, the timid boy found himself by a stationary store. Although he was most definitely older now, he never grew out of loving mascot characters. Weird, yet adorable multi-coloured cat phone straps lined the shelves, intrigued the tall boy. Debating which one to get (maybe he should just get all of themâŠ) long pink hair caught his attention, instantly recognizing her as someone from the agency he worked at.
·âO-oh.. Um.. Hi⊠Luka? Uh.. Which do you think is cuter?â
·Why? Why did he just ask her that out of the blue? This was so embarrassing, it was depressing. How was he supposed to go to work now?
Likewise, Luka hadnât had much time or energy for socializing with her fellow coworkers. It would probably do her some good to get out and talk to them every once in a while, but it definitely wouldnât stop her from continuing to live her current lifestyle. She had always been somewhat shy when it came to confronting others, and ended up living mostly alone. It didnât necessarily bother her, but the thought did cross her mind every now and then that she felt particularly lonely.
Luka had decided that it may have been time to send her parents a postcard or a letter, and wandered into a store to help her meet those needs. A voice called out nearby and she stopped mid-stride, taking a moment to look back over her shoulder at the boy behind her. Thank God he called her name, or else she never would have noticed.Â
She flashed a smile at him, trying desperately to remember his name. It was something she was never good at, but after a few short moments, she managed to dig it up from her memory. âI like the blue one the best.â She pointed a slender finger toward the mascot, widening her smile to try and make him feel more comfortable in her presence. âYouâre Midori, right?âÂ
