Why don’t Howrse people use tumblr anymore.

This thread perfectly sums up the usual forum experience on Howrse:

Person 1: Asks Question Person 2: Answers Question Person 3: Same Answer (14 seconds later though, so that’s forgivable.) Person 4: Same Answer (still only 21 seconds later, so alright…) Person 1: “Thanks.”

(The question is answered and there is no need for anyone else to post… but as we all know, if a forum post remains unlocked on Howrse, more players will flock to it, determined to repeat each other and mini-mod to their hearts’ content for the rest of eternity.)

Person 5: Same Answer (FOURTEEN MINUTES after someone else already said it…

Person 6: Same Answer (TWENTY TWO minutes after the first person answered this question quite sufficiently. All of these people are being redundant at this point.)

Person 7: “Don’t post if you have nothing new to add” *Posts exact same answer too.* (Over an hour after the post was already answered, I might add……)

Moral of the story: Mini-mod Person 7 posted redundant information AND broke the forum rules… so in their effort to play moderator, they broke more rules than anyone.  Congratulations, Person 7.  They should make a howrse trophy for mini modding. You’d win the shit out of that.  Bonus points for apologizing for breaking the rule while you broke it. That’s fuckin’ bold, man.

Hello! I used 10 pass horses on June 8th, do I need to wait untill July 1st or July 8th to get 100% chance for a pass?

I used to deal with my pass horses on the 1st of every month, to make it easier. :)

Very true you used to have to wait until the 8th, for a full month to have moved over. Now (at least for the international version) you only have to wait until the 1st. It rolls over on the first of each month and how many pass horses you’ve killed in the past month is cleared then. You could kill 10 in March on the last day and then on the 1st of June it would be all ready for you to go for it with another 10 passes guaranteed. Hopefully this helps the anon asking (:
