LITTLE WOMEN (2019)

ooc | Rose & Morgan
Rose ADORES Morgan!! ngl, I do think that her abilities as a medium/physic probably fascinated Rose straight off and the fact that she might be able to speak to the dead would absolutely have fascinated Rose!!! And I feel like Rose would be lowkey fangirling about it w/o trying to come off too strong #whoops, but I think she would have also been aware enough that she wouldn't want it to seem like Morgan was just an anomaly or her or anything, either, you know? Like that definitely wasn't the only reason she was interested in being her friend! (And I feel like she became less interested in her abilities and more interested in just her peace of mind, etc, as they got to know each other!)
Anyway, I do have a head cannon that Rose is very exacting when it comes to setting up the Hawthorne tent every time they move locations, but that it is always cozy and super homey and just relaxing and peaceful, and I can see her inviting Morgan over and the girls just having some tea together and idk I like to think that they are able to provide Morgan with a little sanctuary when they are all together like that?
I also feel like Rose is big into natural remedies and I can see where she makes Morgan some teas to help her sleep or whatever and idk just does whatever she can to make her life a little more peaceful, I guess???
(I'm guessing Rose DOESN'T know about Morgan's plans to snag a wealthy husband btw??? Because Rose would NOT be on board with that plan at all, if she did know!)
ooc | Rose & Daisy
Rose loves her sisters more than anyone else in the world and tbh, I feel like she would have followed them to the ends of the earth!!! As I was saying to Kate AA, I do think that Rose is a little protective of them, as a result, but not nearly as much as I suspect Violet is??
It sounds like it was Rose's idea to have the Hawthorne girls join up with FV? And that seems v much on brand -- I feel like she can be impulsive and adventurous, but she's also obsessed with stories from the past and I think that there was much to explore in FV's history to keep her occupied for ages, haha.
But she's also very committed to making sure that her sisters enjoy this life as much as she does!! Not only because she convinced them to come, but also because she really doesn't want them to quit/their little family to ever split up! Rose definitely takes it upon herself to make sure that their tent always gets set up comfortably each time they settle into a new location, and she doesn't like to cut corners w/ this even if it IS tedious to pack and unpack as frequently as they do! But I just image the Hawthornes tent to be one of the coziest at the circus with lots of soft pillows and blankets and their books and tea and idk I feel like they might have a cat, too???
I was also telling Kate AA that I feel like Rose's healing traits have also come in handy considering that the girls are aerialists and I feel like they have all seen their share of injuries!

Rose ADORES her sisters!!!! I do think she's kinda protective of both of them, in her own way, but not to the same extent as likely Violet is? I feel like Rose ~can~ be impulsive at times (especially in the underworld where she is fighting off boredom) and is likely encouraging of that in her sisters, too, but she can also have a calming presence, I think, and I feel like her healing/serenity traits have lended her to sorta create a very welcoming space where they live? I feel like she takes the extra time to set up everything to be ~just so~ so the sisters always have someplace warm and cozy to return to after a long day and you know she's always got tea ready!!! (I do think that this is a little ~less~ common in the underworld where she definitely strays more towards hopelessness and honestly I feel like she gets very low and depressed sometimes and isn't up to her normal antics but I DO think she tries to fight that, especially when she is trying to help her sisters out? Who are 1000% her favorite people in the entire world!)
I also think she's v interested in health & healing, so I think she knows a little more than just your standard first aid which has probably come in handy considering what they do for a living!!!
Also, her fascination with the past definitely makes me think that she's a big daydreamer and can get lost in her own thoughts/can be distracted from the present, so I feel like Violet is definitely the grounding factor here -- especially with Daisy always looking to the future!!! -- poor Violet has her hands full, haha!!
Rose Hawthorne -Tightrope walker - twenty-six - Saorise Ronan [Little Women] Reserve for Lizzy -The Star (Upright: Hope, inspiration, renewal, serenity, healing, the past | Reversed: Hopelessness, despair, negativity, boredom, monotony) Relationships: Violet Hawthorne, Daisy Hawthorne (sisters), Morgan Durie, Helena Phillips (friend) *The past has always been fascinating to Rose Hawthorne. Ever since she was young, Rose loved to sit at her parents’ knee and hear stories of all that had passed to bring them to today. Hearing all the things that others had overcome gave her hope that all her own troubles could always be overcome. *So when she and her sisters visited Festum Veritatis, Rose could hardly believe all the stories that had woven themselves into the very fabric of each and every tent. *There were so many threads to follow, so many people to hear and learn from… Rose immediately knew she was home in a way she had never felt before. *Luckily her sisters felt much the same, which made it much easier for all of them to march into Francis Hill’s tent and demand to join up. It had been quite a laugh for the gentleman to grunt his agreement and shoo them away, but nevertheless, they had been quickly given quarters and talents to learn. *It had taken less training than Rose had expected to learn to walk the tightrope, and though she often became frustrated at the monotonous training required, the applause at the end of each show was more than enough in repayment. *Rose had become a part of a larger story, a memory and a part of Festum Veritatis’ ever woven past. Nothing could be more glorious.
