Idk something I've been thinking about since the first episode of genloss is Ranboo's name. Like his real name, y'know. I get that irl we don't know their real name for privacy reasons and I respect that, but in the terms of genloss I find it so interesting that no one is talking about it. In the first episode when the Slime Demon asked for Ranboo's name, they said 'Ranboo' in such an uncertain and questioning way. Like he doesn't remember. Like it was the first thing that came to him and they went with it. And then during the final sequence when the mask was flashing, it meant the he was regaining his lost memories. Does that mean they remembered their real name as well?

It's like a metaphor, (or 50 airhorns blowing in your ears), for content creator online aliases. Showfall has reprogrammed them so many times that they've forgotten their real name, and that goes for everyone in the cast, Especially Sneeg. Sneeg isn't a conventional name that you would see anywhere than on an online alias. They've been in the system for so long that they don't remember who they are anymore, only being referred to by their online aliases like how fans would refer to them irl.

Idk I think it's incredibly interesting and I find it so interesting that no one has pointed that out yet

Last night I made a post about how the song 'Redesign Your Logo' by Lemon Demon is very interesting in regards to analyzing Showfall Media, so now I will be using my uber autism to analyze

'Redesign Your Logo' is, in its most barebones form, a song about the power of brand recognition and corporate control in modern society. About how a brand can be so powerful that a redesign can change society. How does this relate to Showfall Media? Imagine, if you will, the casts of every show. The casts have consistently been popular content creators that are very well known in the eye of the public, and they are seemingly different for every show under Showfall's control. With their ability to change cognition and alter the brain's perception of reality, Showfall is basically "redesigning" the ccs to be whatever they need to be for the next episode. If you replace the "logo" with "content creator," then all the pieces click into place. Showfall Media is redesigning their logos (i.e. the content creators) to be digestible to every demographic so the show can be marketed to everyone everywhere. This is supported by the theory that gl!Ranboo and gl!Niki had their queerness reprogrammed out of them, much like a company redesigning their logo to appeal to a broader demographic. Showfall Media treats their cast as logos they can redesign at their leisure just because that's what the audience wants, and they'll always listen to the audience.
