HALEY: I'm just a lot sad and wants to talk to the living, breathing, walking version of sunshine and happiness

MARLEY: I won't change my mind, Hals. You are eating here.

MARLEY: You are eating here from now on. I won't hear anything about it.

“Alright then Jane, I hope he’s really your Mr. Bingley or I’m going to do…. I don’t know what, but I’ll do something.” 

Haley threw herself at Marley and wrapped herself around her sister like an octopus. It saddens her that Marley’s in this situation, but at the same time, she’s not about to force her to risk her heart over some boy – nothing and nobody matters more to Haley than Marley and their mom. 

“Wait, I’m Elizabeth?!” Haley popped her head up all of a sudden. “Are you calling me judge-y, Marley Rose!?” She yelled indignantly directly into Marley’s ear. 

“You are doing nothing” Marley reminded her sister softly, wrapping her arms around the other girl and enjoying the comfort it provided. Really, she was fine with the whole situation; in fact, she was more than fine, happy and content with her life. Sure, she would like to have a couple more bucks but apart from that, she couldn’t really complain. 

Except of course, for the fact that she was now partially deaf. “Haley!” Marley closed her eyes instantly, hand going to her ear. “Really, you are going to be the death of me one of these days” She chuckled, shaking her head. “And I’m not saying you are judgey, I’m saying you are have strong opinions. That’s all”

my garden is thriving this year, the only issue is i have more veggies than i know what to do with. i’ve made dried fruit, jams, soups and salads, and exhausted my recipe book and i’m still overwhelmed with home grown vegetables, so if you have any need for some fresh veggies, let me know, or else…if anyone wants to help me box them up and take them to the local soup kitchen, i can pay you in a home cooked meal?

i’m always in need for fresh veggies. since i make lunch and dinner for me and chris, i really tried my best to cook as healthy as i can with as little budget as possible. what if i exchange veggies for cookies? would that be okay?

So lets say there’s this guy. His name is Joe Schmoe and he found a hundred dollars on the floor. Should he keep it? Should he give it to the police? What should he do? 

I don’t think the police would do anything with it. Like, don’t get me wrong, it’s sad that someone lost that money, but wouldn’t be nice to eat pizza tonight? For this Joe guy, and his best friend, I mean.

MARLEY: If it counts, I think you are doing an awesome job. He is one of my favorite students.

MARLEY: I wanna say no, but... The farm is pretty cool.

SANTIAGO: coffee is healthy too. it's like from nature and stuff

SANTIAGO: it's can't be bad if you can get it in the store

MARLEY: Well, cigarettes are there too and we all know they are bad.

“She seemed great,” He reassured, not wanting Marley to worry more than she already did. “It’s plenty,” Chris didn’t want her worrying about her mom and grandma, “And you know if they ever need some more or are in a crunch, I can always help too,” He didn’t want her to resist, immediately bringing up his explanation, “She’s like my mom too,” He moved to take a sip of his wine, “But she seemed happy. Like really happy to see you. Who wouldn’t be happy to see you even if’s through a phone?” 

Marley was already opening her mouth to say it was not necessary, when his next comment made her heart beat so hard against her chest that she feared it would get out. “I’ll keep it in mind” That was probably the sweetest thing he had ever said to her and actually the exact thing Marley needed to hear on that moment. “She was happy to see you as well. You know she feels better that we both look like are doing alright” Sighing, she accommodate herself even more against side, sighing a bit on relief. “Did you have a good day at work? I forgot to ask”
