“Orange Crush!! I'm excited that Rosemary Hallgarten will be using a photo of my recent installation of their gorgeous Orange Ombré Alpaca Fabric in their promotional material. I designed this wall panel to disguise two windows which occur behind the light parts of the fabric and create a focal point in this tall and narrow entry hall in a recently completed project in Marin California. The exhibit "What is Luxury?" was very thought provoking. I think it's a question we all think about. The first set of words are a very accurate representation of what it means for many of us, focused to a large extent on material things. The show explored the question further, asking what luxury might be in the future which is so much more about the luxury of time, being authentic, just the ability to get lost for a while. "Dressmaker" Iris van Herpen worked with architect Philip Beesley to create highly articulated 3-D patterns. (at Victoria and Albert Museum)

I am excited to be back in London for a few days to visit @decorex_international and be a part of Focus with my London showroom, @hollandandsherrylondon I had a little extra time this morning and went straight to @vamuseum and want to share some of my favorite things! I love how the V&A, in true Brit style, mixes the utter contemporary with the ancient. As a part of their 'Design Takes London' series, here is a spectacular interactive installation called 'Curiosity Cloud,' the result of a collaboration between Austrian design due Mischer'Traxler and Perrier-Jouet
