my mother always taught me that ringing in the ears means the weather is going to change soon, but she also told me that it’s different for every witch.

for me, my ears ring when a deity or spirit wishes to speak with me, or when there’s something about to happen that I need to pay attention to, and they’re warning me about it

To My Followers: My Lack of Inspiration

As much as I do believe in wicca, I just have no motivation to practice. The beliefs I still follow and think about daily, but actually practicing spells and doing rituals is something I haven’t done in years. Maybe it’s because my family is against what I believe, or maybe it’s because I am lazy. Nonetheless, I just feel so uninspired. I love looking at what others are doing to show off their practices on tumblr, but I have nothing to show in return.

I’m not well educated on Wicca, what does Wicca mean to you? And what does it include?

Wiccan to me is a lifestyle. I am not as active in it as I use to be but I do still follow its beliefs. I see it as a nature based religion, which it is, but then again not everyone believes that. So I usually like to be out in nature everyday to connect with life around me.

Hello! Lately I've been very interested in Wicca and learning about it, especially the use of crystals, candles, and herbs. Is there anything that I should know or resources that are credible? Also, if I were to pray to the goddess without yet knowing much about Wicca? In the same vein, is there anything I need to do to become a practicing Wiccan?

A year and a day. Look into that. It’s how every wiccan SHOULD begin. Most wiccans that message me for advice don’t do it because they do not find the importance in studying wicca from more than one perspective.

Dude, it’s your life, not their’s . As long as you aren’t hurting anyone, just follow what you believe. This is literally my life reasoning for everything.

When asked if you celebrate the Sabbats, you mentioned “I do keep my witch craft to myself because my family isn’t the most supportive about it.”How do you practice in secret around your family?How do you have an altar, grimoire, or display sigils/ runes or spells?

So, like I said I do hide my lifestyle away from my family. They know I am wiccan but they think it is a joke. I don’t have an alter. I have a Book of Shadows. Sigils are not that hard to display. My parents don’t even notice them. For a while tho, I use to write sigils in clear glue mixed with some glitter and paint them onto items, so they weren’t that noticeable. But my parents are completely oblivious so I don’t bother with that now.
