Pulling out her phone for a quick google search, Mel was not that surprised to find that yet another culture reference had flown over her head. “Is this like.. One Tree Hill?” She grasped for what she had heard other people talk about in the past. “Um, the lead is cute. She looks a little sad, but the good kind of sad.”

“Not really. One Tree Hill was much more dramatic. This show is cuter and it’s about a mother and a daughter. They are practically best friends.” She smiled. “She looks so innocent -- actually she’s very innocent. Super smart and a book warm. My favorite was Lorelai Gilmore though. The lead’s mother.”

“Oh, I’m kind of disappointed but also those ladies were.. very mature. So maybe they aren’t all available anymore. But that picture is my favorite thing in the whole world. But Gossip Girl right? Good for the fans I’m still out here praying that Hannibal will come back. Is it going to be a Netflix show or something?”

“They were very mature, also hilarious. I relate to Rose so bad. My mom named me after her actually. 3 of them died, Betty White is alive though.” Rose chuckled. “No, Gilmore Girls. Gossip Girl is another tv show. I haven’t seen Hannibal, it looked so scary to me. Mhm, it’s going to be a Netflix show. God bless Netflix to be honest.”

“Of course I do, they’re my family.”she shrugged. ”I’ll definitely send pics and I’m glad you’re going home to see your family they probably miss you just as much.”

“Same! I am pretty sure my mom is going to beg me to stay and transfer to a college in New Orleans so she’d get to see me whenever she wants.” She shook her head. “Don’t get me wrong I love them but I also like being away from home.”

“I used to watch Gilmore Girls all the time growing up. It’s pretty exciting that they keep bringing back some of the classics. I hope they do it justice, ya know?”
