It wasn’t a heated argument, exactly. Sometimes, though, the blonde let a little whiskey and a lot of attitude bring out her more competitive spirit. To any bystanders who weren’t listening to the words of the debate, the pair could be in arms over the governments nuclear weapons policy. However, as the Texas-native reached over and rested her arm on the person nearest to her, the question that passed her lips was, “Don’t mean to interrupt darlin’, but I need you to set something to rest for me. Cats, or dogs?” She kept her expression mostly serious - she wasn’t nearly drunk enough to not realize to ridiculousness of the argument. But that by no means meant she was taking the loss, either.
The sudden touch caused a rigid shiver to straighten up Marley's posture, the fluidity and ease with which the stranger seemed to approach her a tad startling. Although she was able to stave off a the knee-jerk reaction to jump, and simply whipped her head around in order to come face to face with a fellow blonde. "Oh, no you're not interrupting anything!" She quickly assured, though a slightly concerned dip furrowed her brow at the inquiry. It could have been brought up by a number of other issues, and the fact that she had probably missed out on any relevant information left her floundering for a moment. "Uh, well, I... I mean personally, I love both. Right now I only have a cat, but I'm on the search for possibly adopting a dog so... Both?"
