Fellow nurses and future nurses, I’m in nursing school. My classmates including our friend Chynea are in our final semester. Chynea was involved in a car wreck and suffered a broken fibula and fractured arm. She has since returned to the ER with a blood clot as a result of the accident. This has severely impaired her ability to finish clinicals. We want to help ease her financial burden. She is one of the most intelligent and selfless people I know. Any amount at all will help.

We got married! Sorry I took so long to upload pics. We just got back from our Japan honeymoon (bought so much moonie stuff)!

The colors for the wedding were black, white and silver with a *nod* to Sailor Moon <3 My mother and sister made the cake and I made all of the bouquets, boutonnieres and decorations. Our little wedding was by far the happiest day of our lives. Honeymoon Japan pics soon! :D

My Sailor Moon Bridal Tiara

Finally getting started on the planning for my wedding in May 2015! The theme is black, white, and silver with a *nod* to Sailor Moon. 

I first made a wire frame for the tiara then molded "Sculpey Soufflé" clay around it. The crystals are Swarovski as well as the larger gem in the center. Surprisingly this only took me a day to make!

My fiancée will be in a tux with tails just like Tuxedo Kamen. There will be several other hints at SM as well. I can't wait!

Saru is a character I created when I was about 12 years old. She always had purple hair with long pieces hanging in the front. I've tweaked her overall design countless times XP She was originally supposed to be this badass crime-fighting, time traveler chick. And considering my age...her actual name is Saru12 haha.  Caption from my deviantart post because I'm lazy :p

I thought I would redesign the pin-up style Sailor Moon I drew earlier this year :D I love vintage fashion and I've been drawing characters in pinup poses, with victory rolls, almost as long as I've been drawing. I've loved Sailor Moon for as long as I can remember. I couldn't resist putting my two favorite things together :)

Asuna's lambent light is almost finished!

I almost have Asuna ready for Friday of AWA! Just have to add some lace, fasteners, finish the sword and belts, and finish embroidering the blouse. Oh and finish the white skirt.

I'm making Asuna's Lambent Light Rapier! 1) sketched the sword. Once I was happy with the design I traced and cut the template out of craft foam ***only the inside structure for the ring/hilt are shown*** 2) traced template onto .5 inch pink insulation foam. (I'm going to put two pieces together so I'll have an inch of foam to carve down). 3) cut out the first half of the sword. I carefully and patiently cut out the sword with a breakaway utility knife and my xacto knife. Am I a cool prop maker yet? :p

Yep I’m sewing the bias tape onto Asuna’s socks while I’m wearing them.

I’ve convinced myself that minimizing wrinkling and puckering (maybe) in the lines and ensuring the best fit is worth the 10x I’ve poked myself.

Fixed the bangs on my asuna wig! The pic on the far left is what it originally looked like. I cut the bangs short in the center and made them a little side-swept. I left the long pieces on the side after referencing some pictures of her.

Needs a little more touch up but I’m pretty happy with it now! :)
