Anye’s pod crashed down while she was at the age of 11. When she landed, she had no idea where she was, or what she was doing in the middle of nowhere. Stranded at a location where she couldn’t see anything but dirt for miles.

Anye soon decided to head in a random direction and start searching for life. Not too long after she had been walking she noticed something that looked like the same pod she had been sent in. She could tell it was older but she knew that if she continued searching she’d eventually find others like her.

Anye has a sibling which explains why there was another pod located around hers. She doesn’t know about her sibling, nor remember them from before.

After walking for what seemed like forever, Anye finally arrived to the nearest gas station. Walking into the gas station, the attendant was frightened from what was happening outside but soon brushed off the fact it could be fireworks or something. She was able to try to steal herself some food and water before the attendant started questioning about her parents and why she was alone. Anye wasn’t able to understand the attendant, which then landed her into a shelter. Since she wasn’t able to answer any questions most of the officials believed she was just an immigrant.

After years of being in the system and eventually being taught how to speak English, Anye started to fit in with the Americans.

Once Anye turned 18 she decided she wanted to work at the local Prison to learn more about what was going on. She is currently in shock of witnessing so much hate towards her people but she knows that she has to continue researching so her kind can possibly leave.

After plenty of time working at the prison for research Anye decided she wanted to try and help her kind escape when she could. The first person Anye helped escape was Ellora. Seeing Ellora put up such a fight for her life, it showed Anye that Ellora soon had to escape or she’d end up dead. Fortunately, that same day one of the aliens had decided to use their powers and blow up a generator distracting the workers at the prison giving enough time for Anye to grab Ellora and stick her in the back seat of her car.

Anye knows about her powers but rarely ever uses them to avoid anybody finding out that she’s indeed an alien. She was able to use them on the doctors when she was younger to get out of them taking her blood, or running tests to find out who she really was. For awhile she abused them by manipulating social workers, parents, teachers, pretty much anybody in order for her to stay in a group home. She hated the idea of living with anybody besides the other kids in the group home.

we would! we’ll be a little more picky about that character, but that’s definitely something we’d love to see.

hey all! i’m sorry for not being on today. i’m gonna be honest, i’m going through a lot of rough stuff with my irl family right now (i’ll spare y’all the details, but it’s life-altering things) and it’s hard for me to find the motivation to do daily tasks. managing two characters and the main by myself right now seems like a herculean task, so i’m figuring out what to do to make it easier on myself. 

we do have two applications for a co-admin, and i said acceptances for that would be later this week after the gala. so, if you’re interested in that, make sure to get your app in soon!

i really didn’t know if this little place was gonna work, but i kept going and believed there would be people out there who’d love the idea, and i am so grateful that turned out to be true. this has been a lil bright spot in the dark. to all of our members who are writing and plotting with each other and bringing this place to life, i just wanna say thank you so much, i love u all <3

I am so confused by the discord format, why not just keep things going on the dashboard? If there's a guide on how to rp on discord could you please link it?

there is going to be a plot drop during the gala, and it’ll be easier for immediate reactions and interactions of more than just two characters at a time if we’re able to do that in a chat service. the interactions on the dash will only take place during the first hour of the gala because the plot drop will happen later in the evening .

this is a super basic guide about discord’s layout. basically, in that section that says “someone is typing,” you’ll write replies in there (which will be just basic written replies). it’ll be more of a back and forth thing, if that makes sense. it’s similar to a chatroom in its basic function if you ignore a lot of the fancy things around it. it might seem intimidating, but as long as you know where the chat box is, you’re good!  i’m looking for some guides that are more specific, but a lot of them are in reference to discord rps which are another thing entirely, and i don’t wanna confuse anyone further. 

i wish i could find something that was perfect for every single person, but this is the best i could figure right now in being able to have everyone involved in some way! this is also our first time trying an event like this, so we’ll be able to adjust in the future if things don’t work out as we hope!

EDIT: i will say, one plus to discord is that it’s super easy to use if you’re mobile! their app is great, and it’s easy to reply using it. so, if you’re going to be away but are able to access your phone, that might be an option for you!
