Clace Theory

At the start of Lord of shadows, Clary tells EmmaĀ that Jace proposedĀ and that she declined. But Clary had reasons for it and those were the dreams/predictions that she was going to die in a fight or war, but this can be backedĀ up because Magnus is having visions of a great war as well.Ā
This may seem far-fetched but in the first book of TMI, the city of bones, Madam Dorathea reads Jace's tea leaves and said, "You are going to fall in love with the wrong person." And that might be Clary because Jace hasn'tĀ been with anyone else and sheās been the only one Jace has a love interestĀ with.
But this reading of Madam Dorothea could have been in that specificĀ time period so I could be wrong.Ā
