Thursday 9th April 2015 from 3pm to 5pm - I’m delighted to confirm that Dublin City University (DCU) are hosting a Live QA as part of their Engineering & Computing Open Day.
DCU staff will be on hand to answer any questions a student may have on the courses they are interested in - ‘Live’ and in ‘Real Time’. Easy to Ask, Easy to get an Answer.
This is an excellent opportunity to chat to DCU’s staff, in real time, from the courses listed on their page (URL above) and ask those important questions that may help in any students decision making.

Last week my colleague Karla talked about her tips for making time for exercise despite crazy family and work schedules.
I also face the same struggle as a parent: scheduling your life around kids’ homework, no school days, after school events, swimming lessons, and...

After recent analysis it has come to our attention that a number of training vendors are not using Learnpipe to its full potential. Our aim is to enable you to make money and be as successful as possible. With this blog we will highlight just how simple it is to generate more revenue through your learnpipe enquiries.
1. Identify the person or group of people within your business who you are going to be tasked with responding to learnpipe enquiries.
2. Ensure that this person or group are aware of learnpipe and that they familiarize themselves with your company profile pages.
3. After receiving your User Name and Password - amend your password to one you will remember - where there is more than one person responsible for replying to questions on your profile; use a common password that everyone is aware of.
4. You will receive a notification email from [email protected] once a course question has been asked. This email will be sent to the registered email address associated to your profile.
a. If you are unsure which email address was used to register, log into your profile Admin page.
b. It is vital that (i) you and your team recogonise the email address [email protected] and (ii) it has been added to your "safe list"
5. As a rule of thumb, we request that all training providers reply to all questions asked within 24 hours. Quick answers will help the booking process as efficient service speaks volumes about the institution. For the importance of speedy replies see here: http://blog.learnpipe.com/post/8683691697/replies-should-to-be-fast-jenson-button-fast
6. Where a phone number has been included by the questioner, it is good practice to follow up with a phone call.
7. Secure that booking!
Get involved and don’t miss a trick – simple as ABC ;o)
A. Add a link for learnpipe to your website

Replies should to be FAST – Jenson Button FAST!!!!!
The new learnpipe website is proving to be a BIG hit with both training providers and searchers alike. Right now the number of questions being asked is accelerating faster than any Formula 1 car (…..emmm, ok, we may not be comparing apples with apples but you get my drift!!!)
This can only be a positive situation for all training providers registered on learnpipe. We encourage all training providers to issue a speedy reply to every question posted. Quick turnaround time proves to those enquiring that you are on top of your game and in turn this will help them in making their decision to register for your course – you don’t want them going elsewhere when you can secure their booking….do you??
As a rule of thumb, we request that a response is provided to a question within 24hrs. Some questions are being responded to within a few minutes of the question being posted. We applaud and encourage this – keep up the good work!
When a question is asked, we at learnpipe (i) make sure the question is not spam, (ii) authorise the question which is then posted to your profile and (iii) we send you a notification email (to the address that was used when your profile was registered) informing you that a question has been asked. This is where we want replies to be speedy – Formula 1 pit crew members can change 4 tires in approx 4 seconds; how quick can you reply to the questions posted to your profile page??
Course enquiries generate sales – swift replies encourage people to book your courses and it helps to promote your business / institution.
So let the replies be fast ….. Jenson Button fast!!
