“You’re right, i was a idiot and should have been thinking about that after seeing how they reacted to each other. My mistake but mine alone so leave Lucinda out of this” Aurora said looking at Aki and Faern’ya as she stood up and Lucinda just stayed quiet “I know your only doing this because you care and don’t want us to mess up but Aki, we’ve been thinking about this the whole fly and drive back over here. We don’t need to be reminded that we fucked up, we’ve been reminding ourselves for the past few hours so just back off a bit okay? Specially with Lucinda, she’s the tech girl. Not a field agent”
“Okay just, please don’t worry either of us like that again?” Aki asked and both Lucinda and Aurora nodded and Aki smiled, relieved “Good now you two should go and rest, i’m sure Zefe, Faern’ya and I can find something to do that won’t disturb you both. Right?”
Faern'ya let out a heavy sigh and dropped the witchlight when Aki relaxed, and said softly, “Oh, thank GOODNESS! I hate playing ilsharess. I’m too young for that job, by a long shot. I just … just … don’t want anyone I care for to get hurt because I failed in my responsibilities, you know?” She gave Aki a sad look and sniffled a bit. “I’m not even 200 years old yet. I don’t want to screw up and let someone get hurt.”
She blinked, giving Aki a confused look. What could she want her to do with Zefe? She was a priestess, it wasn’t as if she knew what to do for a werewolf, except patching them up if they got injured beyond what their healing could manage.
Aki rubbed her back gently, a small understanding smile on her face
“I know, thank you for helping me. You won’t get anyone hurt okay? never ever” she said smiling and she nodded her head towards where Lucinda and Aurora were, the two girls looked tired “I’m sure there’s some movie we can watch while you two rest”
“Yeah the three of us will keep quiet while you two rest, come on” Zefe said before helping Lucinda and Aurora to their rooms
“Those two won’t sleep with guests around unless we assure them that we’ll find something to do while they rest” Aki explained in a whisper to Faeryn’ya “Hence the ‘we’ll find something to do’ answers. Zefe has paperwork to do but he can do that while we watch a movie if you want to?”
“Really?” Faern'ya asked. She shook her head as she watched the Zefe help the girls. “That’s just…and people accuse me of having an overblown sense of responsibility. So, what’s a movie? You make it sound like a play or puppet show.”
She blushed. “Sorry. I haven’t been here long enough to know everything surfacers do.”
“Yes, it’s a little annoying but that’s just them and they have their reasons for it so Zefe and I can’t really complain” Aki said with a small shrug then she looked at the other wide eyed before going over to the DVD cabinet they had “It’s sort of like a play but ten times better depending on the acting, have a seat while i find a good movie to introduce you to the world of movies. You don’t need to apologise for it, it’s okay”
Now the question was did she make it a live action movie or one with animation? maybe a Disney or Dreamworks movie would work.
“Faern’ya? what’s your opinion on Dragons?” Aki asked
