Zarina kept her head down and wings low. She deserved all of this anger, all of those thorns. This entire mess was because of her. “It only happened this past week, you were away at the Mainland, I fell through ice and was stuck in the Winter Woods until my body temperature evened out and he took care of me and-“

She took a deep breath. No, she was making excuses. Rosetta didn’t deserve this. “Don’t blame Sled. Blame me. Hate me, not him. He still loves you.”

They had a week together. They both knew it was wrong, that they shouldn’t have been feeling what they did. Sled had said he would be there for her, that he could make it work. But Zarina knew he still cared for Rosetta and she was just a bump in the road. She couldn’t take Sled away from Rosetta…she just couldn’t.

She would bare the burden of it all, put the blame on herself so they could both be happy in the future. Because that week…it was enough for her. Enough to pretend she was loved.

"Hate me, Rosetta. But not Sled. It was my fault for falling in love with him, and he was too nice of a guy to put me down when I was injured. It’s all my fault."

❝So it only took a week ta replace me?❞ Absolute anger and  pure heartache were fighting to be the main emotion that would influence her, though anger was having a tight hold on Rosetta more than anything, ❝Don't tell me who ta be upset with, the blame is on the both of you!❞ Maybe given time she'd forgive both of them, but it'd be a while longer before she would even be able to speak to either of them, knowing she'd have to distance herself for a while lest she wanted to blow up at them both as badly as Tink when provoked.

I can't believe that or a single word ya say.❞ The rose had started to wilt, her wings drooping as she decided to go break it off with Sled, not before giving him an earful and a good slap before leaving, ❝Though i hope ya realize that once ya start ta cheat, it's hard ta quit- So I hope y'all are happy with each other.❞

Bend down, the garden  talent pulled up at a sleepy root, a tulip sprouting up its place. Reluctantly plucking it, she brought the flower up for the little  girl to have, ❝A flower is always even prettier when someone admires it. They just start ta glow and sway with happiness.❞
