Does the birthday calendar have to be called a “phamily” one? Me and other people I know would like to be part of it, but don’t want to be involved with all the drama the phamily group caused :(

When I named the calendar my onlyintention was to show the solidarity of the PotO community and Ifound ‘Phamily’ sounded so much nicer than just ‘Phandom’. This isthe whole story.
In my first post about the calendar, inwhich I also called out to all phans to join it, I made very clearthat everyone is welcome as long as they consider themselves asphans. I see ‘Phamily’ just as another word for the whole phandom,not as a single group that splitted itself from the rest.
The truth is I didn’t even knowanything about the drama around that word. Either I wasn’t on tumblryet when it took place (I am only here for a year now) or I simplydidn’t get anything of it, because I didn’t have so much contact toother people from the phandom back then. I don’t know. But at somepoint @wheel-of-fish informed me, that some people might would notjoin because of said 'Phamily drama’.
Since the calender was already workingfine and slowly gained more and more members, I considered changingthe name, but at last decided against it, because I like it betterthan 'Phandom Birthday Calendar’ for example. Actually, I still don’twant to change it, because it is the name I chose for special reasonsand good intentions and not because of anything else.
But hearing now, that there are stillpeople who decide not to join it only because of an earlier drama,makes me consider again, of course.
In my opinion 'Phamily’ is such aperfect word to describe how the phandom belongs together, no matterwhere in the world every single phan is located. It kinda makes mesad to see how it has been used to reach the exact opposite. I’d liketo wash the word clean again with bringing the phans – all phans –together with my birthday calendar project – you know, like …goals. But if it is this word that still keeps people away I wouldheavy-hearted change the name.
So, what do you think, Anon and all ofyou who read this: Shall I change the 'Phamily Birthday Calendar’ to'Phandom Birthday Calendar’? Please let me know, write me, anonymousor not. I’ll see how many of you feel bothered by the name and make adecision. And please spread this post. I don’t want anyone to think Iam part of this Phamily drama story!
