Dorra Room Guardian
For Auctionwww.ebay.com/itm/324542617865
This room guardian is the debut of my new Dorra species. It may look intimidating with its mouth full of teeth and empty glowing eyes, but Dorras are not highly aggressive. Their tusks are mainly used for rooting and foraging. Their long snouts give them an incredible sense of smell. Often before they are spotted with the eye, their position is given away by their obnoxious snuffling noises. They mainly scavenge and forage for food, and sniff out the dead that have been buried to lead their soul to the next world.
This dorra has a bloodstone heart. It’s white eyes glow in the dark and it stands about nine inches tall. The mane is comprised of feathers and fur that were sewn together layer by layer. The head and ears were cast in resin so they are very durable. Its neck and upper legs have a fully poseable ball and socket armature inside that will not wear out over time. The ears are connected with a ball joint and can swivel and turn in any direction. The tail has a poseable wire inside and the bottom part of the legs is sculpted in flexible clay with a wire inside that can be bent and posed as well. The legs can stand on their own but a stand will be provided for extra support.

Storyville - Defying the Cutting Season
Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) has been illegal in Tanzania since 1998. But every year thousands of families still plan to have their daughters cut, an ordeal that could cost them their lives. The ‘Cutting Season’ takes place during the December school holidays.
During this time hundreds of girls are saved from FGM by the police, the government and the work of the Safe House. It is run by Rhobi Samwelly, who was herself a victim of FGM, and now, not only does she valiantly run the safe house but she also works with the local police to rescue and protect girls at risk while arresting the parents and cutters.
But they have a tough and dangerous job and old customs die hard. Men believe that girls must be cut to reduce promiscuity and cut girls command twice the bride price in cows as uncut girls. Girls like Rosie, just 12 years old, have had to make the most difficult choices of their young lives - run away from home, not knowing if they will ever see their families again, or submit to female genital mutilation and child marriage.
These brave and courageous young girls are fighting against a tradition that goes back thousands of years. They are standing up for their human rights and fighting for change in their community.
The Safe House is the one safe place they can escape to.
Had to share from the original poster since all the reblogs are from TERFS. I hate to see that human suffering is being made into political statements and trauma porn without efforts being made to fix or support this children.
It was halloween and he knew the perfect costume
I love this post because the replies are like "for anyone who doesn't know what nestle did, they benefited from [insert human rights violation here]" but nestle has done SO many fucked up things you get a different topic in every comment
Nestle has:
Drained water from places suffering from drought for absolute pennies.
Made African mothers dependent on their milk formula, which they gave for free, until their milk dried up. Then they required them to purchase it, mothers could not afford it, mixed in too little to fulfill nutrient needs, and mixed it with polluted water. Children died.
Used slavery to produce their cocoa.
Pushed for water to be considered a “want” not a “need” and is at the forefront of arguments that water is not a human right.
Poisoned Chinese infants with melamine in their milk formula.
Demanded Ethiopia pay a debt owed to Nestle, during a FAMINE.
Price-fixed food items.
Contributed to deforestation for their cocoa farming.
The worst thing is, Nestle owns TONS of other brands, making it difficult to avoid for certain products.

Art trade/collab with my glorious gorgeous I-am-unworthy-to-know pal Joey! Please follow them over here because my goodness the work she does hurts in only the best ways.
We decided to do a sort of ‘before’ and ‘after’ set of pictures regarding Mob and Reigen’s relationship. Joey did the lineart for the first picture, I did the lineart for the second, then we swapped and coloured each others’ work! I still can’t get over what a joy and privilege this was to do aaaaa anyway, hope you like them :D
