I haven’t had a chance to see the musical yet but I get the vibe that Lydia is a little darker in that version. I think the dynamic between a Musical Lydia and a Movie Beetlejuice would be hilarious. I have a whole AU for this but I don’t know if I’ll ever get around to doing much with it lol. Also, I 100% like the idea of him being a jerk and calling her “Ankle-Biter, Half Pint, Short Stack, Kiddo, Squirt, etc.”

Yes it is upsetting she left the show, she is incredibly talented and the cast was lucky to have her originate Lydia, but here’s the thing...actors leave shows.

Did Sophia leave suddenly? Yes

Did she leave unannounced? Yes

Does that give people the right to criticize and harass her? Absolutely FUCKING not.

Sophia Anne Caruso is an eighteen year old Human being with feelings. Playbill stated that she left within her contract to Presue her TV career and we should absolutely respect that.
